  1. Dinner is ready. Spaghetti pie!
  2. No, it's not y'know in Texas, it's y'all.
  3. Or without monopolizing every thread with this analysis.
  4. And drinker ... Athletic Sano!
  5. I get to watch this ... oh, wait ... I don't get to watch this. Working.
  6. If it were a choice between them, I'd choose Palin over Bachmann ... that's how awful Bachmann is. Edit: Actually, I'd choose neither. blecht.
  7. yeah ... I was going to say Bachmann, too ... or Palin.
  8. It's hardly breaking news. Tone down the rhetoric, Dave.
  9. What would happen if both Trump and Sanders ran in the general ... Trump as an Independent, Sanders as a Socialist, Hillary as a Dem, Cruz as a Rep ... who wins?
  10. Depends on how early I get there, if it's anywhere near where I'm sitting, and how long the line is. And if I'm at Wrigley, if someone is passed out in front of the place.
  11. Oh wow! I still have some caramel crisp popcorn from Garrett's left over from Monday. It's not as good when it's not fresh and warm, but it's still really good. Yay! I will partake for breakfast! (Oh, and me saying I ate it all before the game started yesterday was just schtick to emphasize it was too long of a wait for the game to start.)
  12. Hey now. Quit with the agist crap. Texas has gone blue in my lifetime.
  13. Perhaps. What I see is Clinton winning in states with more diverse populations. And that is going to matter greatly in the Fall. And most Bernie supporters will support Clinton in November. The ones that won't are the ones who wouldn't have voted for her anyway. And I don't say that to disparage Bernie or his supporters. He's fought a good fight, made issues relevant even if his solutions were a bit far-fetched, and showed that a socialist can garner wide support which hopefully will motivate the Democrats to quit pulling too far right.
  14. Four of the last six were caucus states. I don't really count those wins. And Hillary was never projected to win Washington or Wisconsin.
  15. I was waiting for that reaction ...
  16. Poutine south if the border is just ... wrong.
  17. 1. Pizza, any pizza, meh, whatever. I prefer it without red sauce and spicy, greasy meats and have been told that I'm not eating pizza then. 2. My best recipe with caramel in it? It's my caramel recipe. Yes, I make caramels, at the holidays, and wrap them in red, silver and gold foil wraps. It's actually pretty easy to make them. 3. Yes. 4. I love road maps. Google has road maps, too; they just aren't on paper, in an atlas. But I still carry an atlas in my car. Why? Well, what if you are out in the country somewhere and need to figure out where you are and how to get somewhere else and you don't have a phone signal? I usually figure out my routes ahead of time, then look at them on a big road atlas, because, well, visualizing where I'm going and how I get there, in a bigger picture sort of way, helps me get there without any miscues. It's also quicker. And tells you where all the rest stops are.
  18. Meh ... I would've chosen the old Met Stadium.
  19. Way to cheer on the team on opening day.
  20. I think my favorite player this year will be Eddie.
  21. No, I think you're thinking of Konerko.
