  1. I think it's 'in a 24-hr period' thing. Not sure. But you can always go back and unlike a bunch, then you have more likes at your disposal.
  2. I wrote that just for you, ya know.
  3. Well, we don't all agree that pistachios are king. They're okay and far from least favorite nut ... that honor goes to hazelnuts, or maybe walnuts. But pecans ... now ... those are royal. How do you pronounce 'pecan?' Do you say ... peh-CAHN, peh-CAN, PEH-can, PEE-can ... so many possibilities. Reaching high ... I have my dream job. My career is as high as it goes. There are huge sacrifices I had to make along the way to get here ... like living/working in Canada for 2 1/2 yrs. But I honestly feel like I'm on a mountain top; and as much as the view is just awesome, I know that I am that lucky to be here. Dolphins ... if I were on my home computer I'd post some photos. Ex-spouse. Don't have one of those. Being married was something I never wanted, so I've been saved that hassle. But I do have quite a few never-married-em exes. And there are reasons they are ex. Good reasons.
  4. I think you should make both recipes on Sunday so you can both eat and drink!
  5. Here's the recipe: http://www.thereciperebel.com/overnight-peach-cobbler-french-toast-casserole/ But in Minnesota you'd have to rename that to 'Overnight Peach Cobbler French Toast Hot Dish.' And I'm not sure why anyone would use canned peaches! I guess if it were in the middle of winter and fresh weren't available ... but then I just wouldn't make this.
  6. Better yet ... I'll give you the recipe and you can try it! I won't try it until I visit my parents again. At 90 I don't think my Dad needs to follow Mike's diet.
  7. I saw a recipe the other day for peach cobbler French toast! I saved it because my dad LOVES French toast ... so might try it some day.
  8. That's who'd I go with, but I can see them giving Jepsen a few games there after last season. And because, well, veteran.
  9. So, who closes? I don't want Jepsen in that role, but I'm guessing they go with that.
  10. Re-direct your comments on this subject in the article thread. Thanks.
  11. I've made grilled gjetost cheese and apple sandwiches before. Pretty nice.
  12. As much as I have been an advocate for change at the top, because I believe to change how an organization works must come from the top down, I think firing Ryan mid-season could be disastrous. The season is underway ... who takes over for him at this point? Antony? Is that better right now? No. So in my opinion, I think it's better for him to finish the season, unless they already know/have someone to step in other than Antony. So I don't see Ryan being fired ... yet ... unless it gets really, really, really bad. We're only at one really for me. A very disappointing really, but only one. Others would get fired ahead of Ryan. When I look at how the season has unfolded so far, the most disappointing thing for me is runs scored and all the strikeouts. Whose fault is that? Is it Bruno's? Is it the players'? Some combination. For me, that's where I'd start ... not sure exactly what decision to make here, but that's where I'd start. Does one or two or three get sent down? Do we make a trade? Is Bruno gone? Or some combination of the three? But that's where I'd start. But do you let it go for a bit, just to see if it rights itself? How long do you wait? I'm guessing that at the end of the month if the results haven't tipped the other way, we start seeing movement somewhere. Same withe BP. It's a close second, but not as disappointing as the bats. But maybe that's because I didn't have higher expectations because of what it is. Starting pitching ... I've actually been somewhat okay with that, happy even. They've kept us in games. The bats have failed. As far as firing Molitor, who knows. I've often felt that firing managers mid-season was a scapegoat-ish thing to do. While he's made some ... interesting ... calls, if he's fired, it won't be until mid-season and we are so far gone, it's the thing to do. I don't know. They waitied until after the 3rd bad season with Gardy, not sure if they wouldn't let Molitor ride it out. All I know is that I wouldn't make any hasty decisions this early in the season, even though we are 0-7.
  13. It's an amazing holiday today. Just simply amazing. I think there might be cake and balloons at work today, followed by drinks and revelry afterwards.
  14. Doesn't Santana have a red glove, too?
  15. Ññ Tildas aren't so difficult.
  16. Is Ricky back out for the 8th this early in the season?
  17. Oh my God ... this is the worst ... ugh! Ugh! UGH!!! If you are going to have these songs sung at sporting events, get people who can ****ing sing!
