Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated. In general you emphasized the need for civility with one another and that's a huge part of it. Learning how to disagree is difficult for all of us, especially when it's something we're passionate about. No one has the right answers despite the passion they feel. And yes, tempers flair, egos burn, things get said ... sometimes taking a step back once in a while to take a breath is helpful. But I am going to correct this quoted comment of yours. The purpose of this blog wasn't to tell everyone they must blog and can't start topics of their own. There'd be no forums otherwise. It was more to say that if you want to make posts or start threads that are nothing more than just ranting about the team, try blogging. I have seen posts, when we are discussing a specific topic, start complaining about every, single, thing wrong with the Twins, and do so just in an emotional, generalized, assumptive manner. They aren't addressing anything really, or asking for others comments and thoughts, they are just ... letting it all out. I have also seen the same threads being started over and over and over again on the same topic. What's wrong with sharing that on another thread of the same topic? It gets old and redundant and that also drives people from the forums saying, 'Not this again.' Again, no one has to read everything ... even I don't. I try to, but I don't. While I'm not saying you must blog, because you can do what you want, really, I'm suggested that if you want to post solely to vent, try blogging. Again ... try, not you must. It's really not that complicated and I read a lot of interesting things here. Yes, starting a forum topic is easier, but it's really not that complicated to start a blog, either. And sometimes people's blog posts are selected to become articles.
