    This is a decent signing. The added defensive help and framing qualities Castro possesses is all positive. The bat could turn around too...After all, we will have a new hitting coach soon. Maybe he can work a miracle with Castro's bat.

    I watched game 7 last night on Youtube. It really was one of the greatest World Series ever. I heard this morning on WCCO that CBS had a TV market share of 35. Not many WS have come that close since. Morris was a total stud that game. Seriously....Do you think there are any pitchers today that would go out there in the 10th inning? How many Managers would even allow it?! Crazy good stuff. Still love what T.K. told Jack before he went out in the 10th, "it's just a game, go get em babe." Re-watching the post game interviews last night on Youtube it looked like T.K. was on the verge of tears talking about Jack. I wonder what Jack's pitch count was that night? They didn't even mention it back in 91 during the broadcast. Time for another World Series in Minnesota! Hang in there folks. I'm not delusional but I don't think its that far off...

    Maybe they can bring in TK to do some color commentary...He can do it with a big wad of chew in his mouth. Does anyone remember the TK bits they did on KQRS years ago? Just listened to one on YouTube. Hilarious!

    Great point. Remember what Epstein and the Chicago Cubs front office have emblazzened on their conference room wall: Find Pitching. Some of the best ones come from unlikely places. Twins found a good one in the rule 5 draft...Santana

    Remember the sign that is plastered on the conference room wall in Chicago? "Find pitching". If the Twins focus on that one thing it should come together well. "Find pitching" doesn't mean FA market only. It means good drafting, trading and coaching. Here are some current positives: 1. The Twins have a good core of young talent now. 2. There are some strong minor league players in the system. 3. We have had some decent draft positions and get the #1 pick this year. Just focus on the pitching. Oh, and maybe a catcher too...

Great job this year ladies and gentleman! Already looking forward to next year. We're gonna win the series! Vegas odds say 2500:1.....Bet the ranch, house and wrist watch! Time to play guess how many wins and losses in 2017. ESPN does it every year. No reason we can't too. We are better than those guys anyway. We make our picks before the hot stove season is complete. We are a fan base that mocks traditional journalism. My guess: Twins W/L record in 2017: 88 wins and 74 losses Go Twins!

    Totally agree. Kind of depressing. There are a lot of us who have mastered the art of positive negativity and sarcasm. I'm gonna miss this! Imagine how much fun this Game Thread will be when we are in the middle of a pennate race. Can't wait!

    Just got back from the Ryder Cup and catching up on the Game Thread. Great intro LaBombo! Impressive work for a rookie! By the way, I saw Bill Murray today. He told me the Twins will go from worst to first next year. The USA won the Ryder Cup and because it was held in the Twin Cities we're gonna have Karma next year on our side. If nothing else, he said the Twins fans will receive total mental consciousness on our death beds...At least we have that going for us!

    That's OK. You're afflicted with the Stockholm Syndrome too. It will eventually pass. A lot of therapy, a new Front Office, a new coaching staff and a few trades will have you back to normal in no time.
