  1. They don't need to make a 40 man spot until they were to need to call up a bat. They're not going to do that unless someone on the 26 man goes on the IL.
  2. Why would any team in the last year of a deal re-up with a company that will cease to exist in a year? There is a very good chance they don't exist by the end of the year. I get there really is no local option that isn't broadcast but
  3. Between MLB dot com and ESPN they have massively dropped the ball on transaction listings this year. Between this thread and Fangraphs at least I can see these moves.
  4. Coloumbe reassigned today, along with Aaron Sanchez and Kyle Garlick.
  5. I do too. There was a reason they made the Santana move to open a 40 man spot.
  6. Brooks Lee was reassigned to minor league camp today.
  7. $2M plus $250k in incentives. I see no issue with Solano signing. If ST ends up with him not making the team no harm.
  8. they were doing everything they could to avoid going over the luxury tax threshold.
  9. It was all about preventing Kenta from reaching the incentives on his contract.
  10. Technically no you don't have a seat. But when I've gone SRO in the past I've waited for an usher to go down the section between innings and went down a few rows and in the middle of the section. Also there are plenty of spaces around the concourse with no vendors. A lot of those spaces also have rails so you can set your drink/food down and eat there.
  11. BOS has no room for Kepler. Turner at DH, Verdugo, Hernandez, and Yoshida in the OF.
  12. It ended up being $63M today. Kinda of surprised but not really since pitchers are getting massively overpaid for playing in less than a teams 20% of teams games.
  13. Bassitt declined the QO. Twins would still have to give up a draft pick to sign him. However I would do it. i think $23M is a little high though.
  14. Jansen was the catcher I targeted in my blueprint so i'm definitely hoping there is something to this.
  15. Normally I would agree but these players lost a full season due to COVID. I think 26-27 is a better spot for this season.
  16. He's not on the 40 man so if they were to waive him it would be for the purpose of releasing him.
  17. One season all in. Some of the FA signings are probably a little low. Arraez not really bench but moves around and sees more AB than anyone. I'm not a Rodon fan at all but the options are limited. I don't see PHI declining Nola's option and Kershaw and Verlander aren't going anywhere. DeGrom is wooed by the promise of letting him pitch deep, much like Archer was last year by the promise of shorter outings. 1 Arraez 2 Buxton 3 Judge 4 Correa 5 Abreu 6 Polanco 7 Contreras 8 Miranda 9 Kiriloff 1 DeGrom 2 Rodon 3 Gray 4 Mahle 5 Ryan CL Diaz SU Lopez SU Duran Everyone else used as needed Sometimes you just need to dream for a minute. ? Ryan Jeffers ($0.70M) SP1: Sonny Gray ($12.00M) SP2: Tyler Mahle ($8.00M) SP3: Carlos Rodon ($25.00M) SP4: Joe Ryan ($0.70M) SP5: Jacob Degrom ($26.00M) RP: Jhoan Duran ($0.70M) RP: Jorge Lopez ($3.00M) RP: Griffin Jax ($0.70M) RP: Jorge Alcala ($1.00M) RP: Caleb Thielbar ($2.00M) RP: Bailey Ober ($0.70M) RP: Kenta Maeda ($9.00M) RP: Edwin Diaz ($21.00M) Payroll is 46.89% over budget
  18. I'm not too concerned about Kiriloff as Larnach is there, and Wallner an Celestino are in AAA. And likely a vet OF down there as well.
  19. Something built around maybe Henriquez and another prospect in the 25 or so range. Maybe Celestino in the deal? But I'd prefer to have him at AAA as insurance for CF as Gordon would be Buxton's backup in my blueprint. Also they can have Roy Smalley.
  20. I don't see any way they trade Moreno, but definitely think the Blue Jays are who to get a deal done with. i went with Jansen in my blueprint.
