At last somebody gets it. To make a transition to a new position effective, if it even works out, it really needs to start at the start of the offseason. Work on learning the nuances and watch video. Come to ST with a good idea of how to play there and work on the fundamentals.
Yes it can be done during the season but that comes with more pressure than necessary.
I was a little confused as to how a player could be signed by a team as an amateur free agent but later drafted in the MLB draft as was stared in the story. I found that it wasn't the MLB Draft but rather the MLB portion of the rule 5 draft.
He was terrible. Only Jack Morris was worse IMO. I don't like being talked down to like I don't understand baseball, and Roy did plenty of that. And he's the only person not coming back from last year's broadcasting team.
He's still an advisor and has say in certain matters. My real hope is he retires after the sale process. He's peart of the reason attendance stays down after blaming fans for not showing up a few years ago when they were leading the division but playing like garbage.
Looking at the ballot I wanted to write in Dick Bremer but I think there is the same 5 years retired deal as the Baseball HOF has. So I went with Mudcat Grant, Tom Brunansky, Corey Koskie, Glen Perkins, and Al Worthington.
