    As long as Escobar is swinging this way (and if Gardy will actually play him) I'd put him up there and at least drop Dozier to 2 (or 3 if you leave Mauer 2nd). In general, I'd put whoever is swinging better between Escobar/Fuld up there. I know Gardy would never go for that though. The 1st 4 spots in the order must be the same 4 people or their substitute.

    Escobar or Santana. They've been telling us how versatile both are for weeks. I don't care if you have to put a $%^ pitcher out there. You're down 3 runs in the 7th and you've scored 2 runs in the last 20 innings.

    I don't normally enjoy Gardy-bashing but not PH'ing Pinto for Hermann is inexcusable. Period.

    Plouffe's not slow and it wasn't hit hard. But I understand Dozier doesn't have time to assess that. Still he had no chance of scoring there.

    Get Arcia up here soon. Especially if Mauer is out, but even if he isn't. Colabello is regressing so hard, he should only be playing against lefties. If Mauer is DL'd Parmalee should be primary 1B.

    So glad we called up Santana so we could get Florimon more at bats. And for God's sake you simply have to bunt there. That's on Gardy.

    Not sure about the 'rumor' but he as placed on waivers 12 days before we claimed him, IIRC. That suggests that they didn't exactly jump at the chance.

    If Juan Pierre is available, go sign him. I know he doesn't have much left, but we need a 2nd OFer who can play CF and he's still valuable as a pinch-runner if nothing else.
