Yes. That shouldn't make him unavailable. Yes, it's a long season. But Fien is the 8th inning guy and he should have been in there.
  2. howeda7
Fien has pitched once in 6 days.
  3. howeda7
    Perk is warming.
  4. howeda7
Take him out here or we're not getting out of here with a lead.
  5. howeda7
    So much for that.
  6. howeda7
Burton instead of Fien here? Ugh.
  7. howeda7
Gardy would demand Butera back in that deal. Demand it!
  8. howeda7
Rick Anderson. Major League Pitching Coach.

Decline at 32? Come on. He's a 2B and speed isn't in his primary asset. I'm fine buying out is arbitration years and 2 FA years.
  10. howeda7
Touche. But the Thielbar pitch wasn't even a cookie. Jim Thome was great at 38, but never had a streak quite like this.
  11. howeda7
No offense to Big Papi, but seeing things like this make me question if the steroid era is over. He's 38? Come on man.

You always can tell when Dick's been given permission. "Kevin Slowey may or may not be an axe murderer. He definitely eats children." That said, Hicks needs to go down. Even if it means Cletus Thomas II.

Good to see Burton looking better. Still, in a key spot, let's go with Gurrier. Burton's veteran presence can't match it.
  14. howeda7
No. But Gurrier has no business being on the team, much less pitching with the bases loaded. Leave Duensing in. Bring Thielbar in. Bring Swarzak in. Almost anything but Gurrier.
  15. howeda7
Matt Gurrier in a key spot. Yeah, thanks Gardy.
  16. howeda7
Collabello needs a few days off when Mauer is back. Dude is totally lost at the plate right now.
  17. howeda7
    Dozier makes it a game.
  18. howeda7
Gardy will have Florimon back here at the first opportunity now.
  19. howeda7
This is probably true but sad. Honestly, Gardy.
  20. howeda7
    Robbery
  21. howeda7
Trev is due a for HR....
  22. howeda7
That was brutal. But does Kubel catch that? Cola certainly doesn't.
  23. howeda7
Gardy doin' some managin'. None of us know what we're talking about.
  24. howeda7
Fien just pitched 3 days ago, and Duensing/Thielbar 2 days ago. Clearly, all unavailable. AND tomorrow they go back to ONLY 12 pitchers!
  25. howeda7
Burton in? That's OK Gardy, we didn't really want to win...
