    Mr. Sano looks a world more comfortable already than young Mr. Buxton did, in this handful of ABs. So great to see him laying off nasty sliders, and going the other way. I missed his double tho- damn you, sizzling bacon that needed turning just then!!

    Wow- this young man has pitched a WHALE of a game- Ventura's taking a lot of heat in Chicago for leaving guys in to work out of a mess- and he's got a good BP. For us, unless it's Perk, F- 'em. There's nobody out there who's going to pitch better than a tired Gibson.

Boy, that bottom 4 or 5 batters look like a string of automatic outs, tho, don't they? Being on the opposite end of the clock, it's now midnight here, and I may not make it past the first half inning or so- maybe we can revert to that month of May thing, and score a ton of 1st inning runs, and I can have sweet Twinkie dreams... Zzzzzzzzz.....
