    I've gone down the row of comments here clicking 'likes' right and left. I echo so many of the feelings of other fans here, especially in the sense of how horribly Molly has jerked the kid around this year. I'm down to absolute zero confidence in Molitor, for so many reasons, but this is the new #1. Not going to rehash the points already made, but he's not only made terrible decisions for the present ML side, he's also mucking up the future. Molly has to go, and Meyer has to get back up and take his licks and learn during the rest of this lost season.

    To tell the truth, I'm more dismayed at Molly's management than Ryan's. You've got to do the best with what you're given to work with, and the mind-boggling decisions on lineups and game days, along with the club's seeming unpreparedness in so many situations, (middle-school level baserunning mistakes, defensive lapses of throwing to the wrong base, or not being focused enough to handle relay throws), that's on the field manager. So we're lacking in the bullpen, and too often in the rotation- so people aren't hitting the way they have in the past- fer cryin' out loud, find the hot hand, and put them in a position to help- don't have your hottest current hitter in the god-forsaken 9 spot. Don't put a guy fresh off a lackluster rehab in cleanup. Don't bring up a guy who's been lights out in AAA and make him sit for 9 days. These are elemental things, that shouldn't have to be addressed at the mlb level.

    Webb-Ellis Cup- the Rugby World Cup trophy, came to HK last year. Same deal, guards, no touchy, and especially no-drinky. No fun!

    This Gausman kid, holy moley, he's good. He is painting down low tonight. Unless Parise comes off the bench and scores a couple goals, we're already toast.

    Yep, just exactly the player you want in the high-pressure cleanup spot. How about let him try to play through it in a lower-pressure spot? Every single day, whether it's lineup or game decisions, Molly does something that looks like he's just pulling stuff out of a hat. It's like he's actively trying not to care.
