The Marlins will settle for nothing less than Sano, Buxton, Rosario, and Berrios.

    Jindal out.
  3. Hrbowski
    Ortiz is a hypocrite.
  4. Hrbowski
    I was kidding.

Actually, people make up the contradictions themselves. Having read the whole bible, I find that what many people call contradictions in the bible are easily explainable, and that legalistic christians try to over blow just about everything.

Trade him to the Red Sox, Ortiz can't be around much longer.

Well, there is a huge difference from a potential ISIS terrorist and a confirmed ISIS terrorist, just in case you didn't know.
  8. Hrbowski
Anybody who wants ISIS to have their own country isn't thinking right. ISIS shouldn't even be allowed to live.

“I was talking with Mac, and he was raving about that young catcher the Twins got,” Boyer said. “From calling a game to receiving, it was unbelievable. Mac doesn’t get crazily excited about people, but he loves (Murphy).” From Berardino's blog.

I don't know what Dean can hit, but I have seen Darnell hit 96, so I think you are just taking a look at the facts that he is a lefty, coming up from the Twins farm, was a failed starter who was moved to the bullpen, and than assume that he can't hit 90.

With the Twins showing interest in the Korean market, I wonder if these two players are possibilities. http://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.cgi?id=kim---004hye http://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.cgi?id=son---000ah-

Anybody who does this has a sick mind.

Deron Johnson only has authority over North American scouting. Radcliff and Norsetter would be scouting Korea.

Maybe on a 1 year deal and for keeping company with Park.

Lot's of people who seem to think they would make a better GM than Ryan, although I am not talking about DaveW (for once). I think that JR Murphy will be better than AJ etc. and probably every other free agent except Matt Weiters, who's catching status is up in the air. I know that a lot of people on here were supporting Arcia for Zunino, Arcia for Bethancourt etc, but I believe that Murphy, who should be an average catcher and better than Zunino and Bethancourt, and Hicks, who is probably better than Arcia, were a fair one-for-one type deal.

    Oh brother...

I think it is a pretty good trade for both teams. Yanks get a much cheaper version of Chris Young, and the Twins get a young catcher they will be able to use as a solid starter. How about Denard Span?

Rand Paul has been impressive so far tonight, but Cruz and Rubio are showing that they have the potential to bring it down to themselves.
  19. Hrbowski
He is actually a pretty good prospect...

Looks like we got this posted at the same time...

I don't think that May is that good, as you can see when you look at my previous posts in game threads. He could be used in the trade for Realmuto, or he could be sent to AAA.

    1) Extend Mauer 2) Bring back Duensing and Pelfrey 3) Promote Ryan 4) Hire Torii as GM 5) Move Bert Blyleven or Jack Morris to pitching coach, and Neil Allen to roving instructor 5) Hire AJ as broadcaster OK, I was kidding, so how about this? 1) Sign Scott Kazmir, which would upgrade the rotation. 2) Sign 2 of Soria, O'Day, Madson, Clippard, Lowe, or Kelly 3) Trade Plouffe, Gibson, Vargas, and Milone to the Indians for Carlos Carrasco and Trevor Bauer 4) Trade Arcia and Suzuki for JT Realmuto 5) Sign a non-tendered Greg Holland to a three year deal 6) Sign Sean Marshall to a minor league deal 7) Sign Park 8) Sign Drew Stubbs 9) Send Nolasco to AAA 25 man: Carrasco Kazmir Santana Hughes Bauer Perkins Madson Lowe Fien Jepsen Duffey Marshall Chargios Realmuto Herrmann Mauer Dozier Escobar Sano Park Nunez Hicks Rosario Buxton Stubbs

2015 biggest surprise: Not winning the World Series. 2016 biggest surprise: When Terry Ryan finds out that he needs to extend Joe Mauer for five years so we won't have to sign a veteran every year, and than sign Duensing and Pelfrey to eight year deals so we can have leadership². Duens and Pelf should have an average ERA of 4.255.
  24. Hrbowski
Dozier for McCann? You have to be kidding me.

I thought Finland was the land of guns, and that we were Gun Land Jr.
