  1. He may be the worst defender we’ve had in the infield in 20+ years.
  2. Lol Julien took a full business day to make that throw. Just a wee bit more urgency
  3. The bullpen blown leads would be a million times less annoying if it was with, oh I don’t know, a pitcher with a future here. But nope. Gotta give these opportunities to 28 year old Davis and 35 year old Ramirez.
  4. I’ve seen enough of Noah Davis. Bring up a kid with potential
  5. That’s encouraging! Hopefully this is one of the last nights we see Julien’s cast iron hands in the field
  6. Has Keaschall played in the field at all during his rehab assignment? Just looking for any alternative to move Julien out of 2B…
  7. That’s my preferred outcome because by then we will really have nothing to play for. But I think they will bring him back for a 2-3 start showcase if they’re going to trade him in the winter. Hope I’m wrong.
  8. Well said. I agree with every word you typed. That letter will end up causing more harm than not saying anything at all. Do they really think we’re that dumb to believe that we’re still striving for championship baseball in 2026? Come on man… The bullpen is going to take at minimum 2 years to rebuild. We will be fortunate to find 1 building block per season as we sift through the pile. All we can really hope for now is the Pohlads selling before November. If we have to endure another offseason with the Pohlads it will kill any remaining interest I have in the organization.
  9. The blowup on the mound in the 9th inning right before deadline day probably escalated things as well. I’m sure he’s happy he doesn’t have to see Rocco every day.
  10. Out of the 4 groups mentioned in the original article tied to the Twins, I think Marty Davis is probably the best fit for what we’re looking for. Long time Twins fan, local billionaire. I don’t know much about Jim Hays to have a strong opinion. Maybe someone here can fill us in on him… The group led by Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau feels like private equity behind it. I don’t think this is the direction we should go. Finally, Glen Taylor… Absolutely not. He had no idea what he was doing as owner of the Timberwolves. That team was in the gutter for 15+ years until A Rod and Lore changed everything.
  11. I’m mostly fine with the position player side right now. We’re triple checking that Julien isn’t going to work at the MLB level… Lee and Lewis on the left side of the infield. As we already knew, there is nothing substantial to call up for C or 1B. The pitching is where I have an issue at the moment. I don’t know why we are wasting opportunities and roster spots on Urena, Ramirez, Tonkin, and Davis. None of them have upside, nor a future on a rebuilding team. Call up the youth and get their feet wet for next season. Raya is already on the 40. Prielipp, Culpepper, and Morris are Rule 5 eligible this winter. Get them all up and see what they can do.
  12. The letter itself was tone deaf, and looked like it was put together by AI. I’m not really mad at Falvey. He was clearly told to sell off everything he can from the Pohlads. I hope no one is naive enough to think the money will be re-invested in the team if the Pohlads remain owners this offseason. Nothing else has mattered more than the sale being finalized.
  13. I heard Julien’s quote on Dan Barreiro’s show this morning. Paraphrasing but it hits these 3 points… Julien said him not running on contact is a tough look. The coaching staff has reminded him about this more than once, including last year. But he just enjoys admiring his hits. We’re gonna be at a disadvantage talent wise for 90% of the remaining games. What shouldn’t be tolerated is lazy effort. But we don’t have a backbone in this organization to bench people for lackadaisical effort.
  14. What’s the point of this thread?
  15. Terry Ryan’s flaws were apparent in the 2nd go around with the Twins. But at least he spoke like a human being. Falvey just says word vomit. He’s worse than chatGPT
  16. I guess there is really no accountability anymore. Julien still starts after dogging it in the 9th inning yesterday. 3 mental mistakes in 2 games
  17. Also, seeing Duran’s entrance replicated in Philly hit me in the gut tonight. Really sad.
  18. Who knows. Falvey has almost all of the minor league pitchers training to be bulk pitchers. I’d give Raya and Prielipp first dibs at being 1 inning relievers since Raya is on the 40 man and Prielipp is R5 eligible this winter.
  19. That’s just adding to the problem of giving opportunities/roster spots to guys who have zero future here. We did the roster reset. Take these 2 months giving every rep they can to young players who could be a part of the solution for 2026 and beyond.
  20. Gestures broadly at Rocco Baldelli. Are we doing a reset or not? Once again he gets schooled by Stephen Vogt when it comes to manufacturing runs in Manfred Ball.
  21. Most predictable outcome of all time. Fire Rocco for the love of God
  22. Steven Vogt understands the assignment. Rocco doesn’t.
  23. Something tells me we’re not gonna win a bullpen battle against anyone
