  1. He can play plenty in St Paul figuring out how to swing the bat and catch a fly ball again.
  2. Who knows. Just posting what I’m seeing on Twitter.
  3. Which probably should happen regardless… Wallner has been brutal in the OF and the plate.
  4. Maybe there’s something to tap into. 3 WAR player in 2023 when he was a full time starter for LA. Idk. Just grasping for straws. He’s at minimum Buxton insurance so we don’t have to scrap heap this winter for another Michael A Taylor type.
  5. Don’t hate it honestly. For the crowd that wants immediate help, here ya go.
  6. 28 with 1 good year under his belt in 2023 when he was a 3.4 bWAR player in 151 games
  7. 🚨🚨🚨🚨 We finally have a return for Brock Stewart 🚨🚨🚨🚨 OF James Outman
  8. Agreed. He was traded because the FO thinks Abel is an MLB caliber SP. Now we’ll see if their gamble is correct. In theory you trade a RP for a SP 10 times out of 10.
  9. Isn’t this usually the time when the Twins start contacting season ticket holders about renewing for next year? Those poor sales people making those calls to angered fans…
  10. Possibly. Yesterday’s prices aren’t today’s prices and Seattle might be feeling the pressure to go all in themselves.
  11. With the market this hot on relievers I think we gotta go all in and trade Jax. If we can get Harry Ford from Seattle and more I’m in.
  12. Not breaking news or surprising…
  13. Correct. And that’s how they’ll get a big bat in return to balance things out
  14. it’ll be a player I’m sure. Just a little attempt at humor since things are getting a little tense as we wait for the next Passan or Rosenthal bomb
  15. We will agree to disagree on that. We are the slowest team in baseball. And that’s with the fastest player in baseball Byron Buxton lifting the average for everyone else.
  16. Fair point from Dan on why a return has not been announced yet. Who knows, it could be some of our favorite players like OF Cash Considerations or 1B Tobe Namedlater
  17. That is a monumental task for this current group of players. Unless the manager we hire is Jesus Christ to perform miracles, that’s not gonna happen.
  18. I hope Raya and Prielipp are called up tomorrow. Get their feet wet in the bullpen
  19. We will still have essentially the same starting rotation - Lopez, Ryan, Ober - the rest of the year is finding out if 4/5 will be one of SWR, Festa, Zebby, or another minor leaguer. We’ve had a knack of turning failed SPs into RP pretty quickly. The bullpen can be cobbled together with Jax, Varland, Sands, then guys like Prielipp, Raya, etc. I still have no idea what they’re going to do to generate more offense. That still remains the biggest issue.
  20. Fair. Who knows, maybe the Dodgers DFA him again once any of their 20,000 pitchers on the IL make their return
  21. The players have nobody else but themselves to blame for the fire sale. They’ve been playing lifeless baseball since opening day.
  22. Meh, does the control really matter for a 34 year old player?
  23. Sad but true. After today I will be taking a little vacation from watching the Twins
  24. I wonder if Jax stays now that Duran and Stewart are shipped out? Castro, Coulombe, and maybe a Jax trade is what I’m hoping for the rest of the afternoon.
