  1. There’s a clear gap between the haves and have nots in this league and it’s growing every year. 2011 was the last year the Twins were top 10 in payroll with $112 million. Highest payroll was the Yankees at $200 million, lowest is KC at $36 million. Today the gap between the Dodgers and Marlins is $274 million.
  2. Both of these guys have at least the 2026 season to prove they’re building blocks before other prospects push for their playing time… We were too quick to anoint Lewis as the face of the franchise after his red hot 2nd half in 2023. His stats the last 2 seasons in the majors reflects his last full season of minor league play. I hope he finds it again, but he wouldn’t be the first or last flash in the pan player for the Twins. Lee doesn’t look like a building block starting SS, and he performed worse at 2B. Not a good sign. His approach at the plate needs to be greatly improved.
  3. And don’t forget the chance he gets injured in the future. Our graphics department team is cooking up an epic “Dirty Deeds Tonkin Cheap” entrance as we speak
  4. Best bullpen in baseball ™️
  5. 18 straight Tigers retired. As expected from this high octane bullpen
  6. He’s gotta be the most interesting man in the world or something. Dude gets called up and immediately gets a corner locker to be one of the leaders on the team
  7. 9 pitch inning. Good for Genesis
  8. I’m no mathematician, but how many days does he need to stay down to keep his rookie status in tact for 2026? That’s all they need to prove now
  9. Well this guy is left handed and breathing. Getting another opportunity he probably doesn’t get if he’s RH
  10. He’s busy working the county fair circuit. Then skip the MN state fair because that’s a big city
  11. One would call this high jacking a thread and trolling. Stop it.
  12. They’re still letting Paddack out to dry this game
  13. They’re quite tasty and versatile. For a good month+ every year they featured at H-E-B in Texas
  14. I’ll see about 20 doppelgängers of Detroit’s catcher at the state fair next week
  15. We roughed him up in his lone 2 starts against us! We can go winless the rest of the season now for all I care
  16. I’ve got to imagine Kwesi is making some calls around the league for a veteran WR, and an experienced backup QB. I’m not sold on Howell at all as QB 2. He threw a terrible INT yesterday and it’s been reported consistently that he’s not doing well in our system. I like Brosmer and think there’s something to build on with him. But having him as QB 2 is very risky.
  17. Roden done for the season. You can’t tell me we are putting our best foot forward by calling up all of these veteran cast offs.
  18. 215 pitches and counting for our Twins tonight. Brutal
  19. Pitcher throwing error of course
  20. 14 straight wins for the Brew Crew
  21. Lee tried playing golf on that 0-2 throw away pitch
  22. The chances of the Pohlads being at Target Field for a game or watching the Twins on TV is as close to 0% as mathematically possible. Same thing with Derek Falvey attending games. People can fan however they want… Let the boo birds fly and yell Sell the Team. Just know that it’s going to fall on deaf ears.
