    We will see soon enough what Christian Watson’s contract breakdown looks like… The reported 4/$110 million extension is insane for a player who hasn’t topped 700 yards in a single season. Jordan Addison is salivating after this news… If he isn’t a moron this year, he’s gonna get $30-35 million per year when he hits the open market.

    My only issue with 1 is Keaschall profiles as less than ideal 1B. Feels like a repeat of Arraez at that spot. Which we had 1 good year of him there! Since then, Miami and San Diego didn’t have the same luck. San Fran moved him back to 2B this year

    He is fantastic. In an ideal world - for me at least - Morneau does more advising/coaching of our young talent and walk away from broadcasting. Molly, Plouffe, and Span take on the TV responsibilities. Glen Perkins replaces Danny Gladden on the radio team.

    Since Steve Cohen took over and started spending like a drunken sailor in 2020 the Mets have made the playoffs the same number of times as the Twins (2) and won exactly 1 more playoff series than our lowly bunch. Gee whiz, it’s almost like Steve Cohen would end up being a horse **** owner if he didn’t spend hundreds of millions more on a team compared to the league.
