    If the trade up to 3 proves to be too much, then I certainly see this scenario playing out. For Maye’s sake, I hope New England passes on him and the other top QBs. I see their organization the same way as Carolina last year. There’s no infrastructure in place to make him successful.

    I’m expecting pure chaos tonight. Starting with us trading to the top 5 for one of Maye, Daniels, and McCarthy.

    I like all 6 top QB prospects at a certain price. Maye I think is the best fit for the scheme with the highest upside. Really hope we trade with NE and get him. Williams and Daniels appear locked in at 1 and 2. I have them and Maye in a tier together as Pro-Bowl/All-Pro potential. McCarthy I’d do a small trade up for or just risk he falls to 11. He’s not a guy I’d give up the farm for like Maye. I can’t get past him not being a focal point at Michigan. The people that crunch the tape say he did great on 3rd downs and clutch plays but I’m just not sold. Penix and Nix IMO are 2nd round or later QBs. I’m not gonna be thrilled if they are drafted by the Vikings.

    This is what the Pohlads signed up for. Sure, I’ll still attend a live game or 2 this summer because I love watching baseball in person. Beyond that, I’m going to check out for weeks at a time.

    Haven’t watched a second tonight. T Wolves playoff game. All I gotta say is if this week is a 4-3 type week, that’s all I need to know that the season is over.

    Reckless speculation 2 days before the draft… Still think trading to #3 overall for Drake Maye is the preferred path Kwesi and KOC want to take. But all it takes is NE saying nah we want to take him ourselves. McCarthy I think is plan B. I don’t think we gotta go all the way to 5 to get him. Perhaps a small trade up to 7 or 8 overall. I think we will see a record number of offensive players taken in the 1st round - more than 20 out of 32 on offense. Tee Higgins will get traded on Thursday. My wild thought is Carolina trades #33 overall for him. Wherever we end up drafting, our first two picks will be QB and DT in that order.

    Good memory! My boy Ronnie is 6 now so it probably was that long ago. He’s still the same sweet boy.

    This is a classic Twins FA signing we’ve seen so many times over the years. Late 30s/early 40s with their last good season being 2+ years before joining Minnesota. They almost never work out, and they end up spending way too much time on the MLB roster.

    Varland needs to get right as a starter, and quickly. Headrick heading to the 60 day IL so it’s Varland and SWR as the only starter depth already on the 40. We may see the return of Dobnak before we know it.

    Happy bark at the park day! I was going to bring my pup to Target Field today but he’s still getting over an upset stomach over the weekend. He’ll have to substitute a hot dog for boiled chicken and white rice instead.

    This upcoming week is as close to must win as you can get in late April. If there’s any chance at salvaging the season they need to reel off at least 6 or 7 wins.

    .140 xBA on that hit and he pimped that hit like it was hit 500 feet. I'm glad he tied up the game, but this is what the likely outcome should have looked like... Or, like they say in Major League 2, it must have been the wind.

    That injury really took the wind out of my sails. Tonight was the first game I've watched beyond an inning or two since opening day. Being 7 games behind on April 19th doesn't help either.
