Is this place worth the drive? It’s a 30 min drive from my place

Pretty excited for a new era where Twins OF can make exciting catches like that

Re: Rangers new ball field. I went with one of my best friends who had Tix to the Hyundai suite… Still sucked.
  4. Vanimal46
That’s exactly right. Go with the flow of the night
  5. Vanimal46
I am biased but it is. Especially compared to the travesty that the Rangers built. A corporate dome hell hole.

Used to have to drive to Indian reservations like Treasure Island casino to pick up rec flower. Now shops are opening up around the TC. One is a 5 min drive from my house.

Game threads were designed with the feel of sitting in the LF bleachers overhearing most conversations. I try to keep that belief alive!

Question for the crowd tonight: What brand of mattress do you have? If you’re a huge fan of your mattress, can you let me know if it’s firm or a pillow top?

The AL West winner is going to be historically bad, no?
  10. Vanimal46
    This changes everything

    Private equity

I’m genuinely shocked Noah Kahan sells out large stadiums. His type of music is something I don’t mind if I’m shopping at a store or coffee shop. It’s not something I’m spending actual money to see.

We may differ on the style of music, but I also love women who are opera trained singers. My preference is just a little more rock focused like this.
  14. Vanimal46
Thanks for introducing me to Ashley McBryde. I can tell she’s a legitimate singer. Country music has become so commercialized. The new “hot” country artist Stella Lefty is an industry plant 100%. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ella Langley is an industry plant too.

If there’s a Jenkins or Culpepper city connect shirt for like $10 I’ll buy it
  16. Vanimal46
I will let you know if city connect gear is sold for cheap at TF tomorrow

Playing Lewis is just defaulting to veterans who don’t deserve playing time right now. He has a .528 OPS over 78 PAs in September. He’s guessing at every pitch and swinging at everything like he was when he was sent to St Paul in May.
  18. Vanimal46
That’s what you chose to believe. If there was no one in the entire organization that could have been a defensive replacement, pinch runner, or contribute more than 5 PAs over 6+ weeks, the Twins are in big trouble.
  19. Vanimal46
Someone who made more than 5 PA since the trade deadline is a great start.
  20. Vanimal46
Sabato 1 out of 3 games taking Royce Lewis’ playing time.

I love that the 2 bulldogs Verlander and Scherzer are both trying to out duel each other until the very end on the all time strikeouts leaderboard. Verlander’s final start is tomorrow on short rest IIRC and Scherzer said he’ll pitch until his arm falls off.
  22. Vanimal46
That's the plan! I bought the cheapest ticket available for Saturday and plan on seat surfing for one more game.
  23. Vanimal46
I think we can end the thread here. No we did not play meaningful September ball games.
  24. Vanimal46
Keep the FO overhaul going. Including Zoll.
  25. Vanimal46
TB's season is on the line. If they go 0-3 I could see Todd Bowles being the first HC fired during the season. We saw last night what a cornered animal is capable of against GB.
