    It’s a mindset and the guys it does effect is soft. You hear the excuse early in the season all the time. Funny how it never comes up during playoff time.

    The short answer to your question is no one, to be honest. Buxton had all the makings of an instant superstar but then his bat became a wet noodle when he was called up. Royce Lewis started his career on fire with the bat, but the injuries are piling up for him… I see it, and you see it too over the years. Other organizations call up a 19-22 year old player and the player becomes an instant superstar. I’ve been extremely jealous and wonder when the Twins will luck out with their own Jackson Merrill, Jackson Chourio, or James Wood?

    We’ve been hoping for an instant superstar since Joe Mauer in 2004. When will it be our time again? Our next hopeful is Walker Jenkins. Maybe, just maybe, he’s what we’ve all been hoping for.

    Always good to start the week with a win. Wasn’t able to watch today but I am happy to read about a solid SWR start… Also, Harrison Bader is a pretty easy guy to root for. He brings some hustle and swagger to a team that severely lacks both.

    Is it smart to continue giving Prielipp starts even if they’re 4 innings or less? Who knows how many bullets are in that arm, so shouldn’t he get prepped to be a bullpen arm?

    I’d be surprised to see Lewis anytime before June. Hamstrings take forever to heal, and once you tweak it again you’re back to square 1.

    The way this roster is playing will definitely get Rocco fired. If it remains this way he’ll be gone by the end of the month. However, Rocco IMO is just a symptom, and not the cause of the rancid stench coming from this organization. The Pohlads aren’t gonna be paying 2 manager salaries, so if Rocco is indeed fired, then Jayce Tingler better get ready to pull double duty as a manager and bench coach.

    I’m on the west coast for vacation this week so can’t verify but it says 50 degrees currently at 10:30 PM. I’d say that’s more than acceptable for April 11. It’ll be 70 degrees for both games this weekend so that will be the true test

    Truly. Not even halfway through April and we’re buried in the standings. Good thing I got practice last year not watching them for months. I’ll be doing the same during the dog days of summer
