  1. I don’t think it would be considered a major rebuild trading one of the top 3 pitchers considering we have SP waiting in the wings in AAA and AA. 1 step back to take 2 steps forward potentially. I don’t have a specific name, but if any of the top 3 can return a SS, CF, or C that’s projected to stick at these positions, it’s something to seriously consider. Soon enough, Correa and Buxton will age out of the premium positions and need to slide over to the corners.
  2. It was pretty easy to see. I’m sure I’m not the only one either not present on the site, or staying quiet during spring training because I didn’t want to be the Debbie Downer during optimism season. Edit: Shoutout to the early detectives like @DJL44that did say if guys like Gasper and Keirsey made the opening day lineup it would be disastrous during the offseason.
  3. It’s the kind of baseball that makes even the most diehard ball guys question WTF theyre doing watching this team
  4. 7th walkoff win for the Guardians against us since 2022. Madness
  5. I can’t read that. I need a full hour by hour breakdown including ads and other hyperlinks that take up an entire page!
  6. San Diego is extremely walkable with tons of restaurants in the area. You can stumble upon any good food and drinks in the gaslamp neighborhood.
  7. $3 draft beers on their rooftop deck before first pitch. Of course you could partake in one of the many offerings they have at dispensaries and forget that baseball is being played on the field
  8. Even if the Twins look outside the org, which they won’t do, I imagine the conversation going something like this…
  9. If the Wolves can shoot that poorly, and still end up winning like they did in game 5? We may have something special here… Call me crazy, but I’d rather play the 2 seed Rockets next round than the 7 seed Warriors. Golden State’s depth and vast playoff experience scares me more than Houston that’s playing above their skis with young players.
  10. It’s not really fun being a fan of any central division team, AL or NL. I’d rather watch a fundamentally sound team than watch our pitchers sail throws over the 1B’s head.
  11. Cleveland’s formula isn’t difficult to replicate. They win with pitching, defense, and fundamentals. Jose Ramirez anchoring the lineup and they need 1 or 2 others to come through that particular day. Winner.
  12. It’s not being discussed enough… The Twins are 16-31 against the Guardians since 2022. 3-17 in 1 run games. 6 walk offs.
  13. Dear new owners: Don’t blame the fans for your inability to make improvements on the team, and you’re already off to a much better start than the last group. Give people a reason to care about your new team. We’re tired of being sold the same bill of goods year after year with Buxton, Correa, and Lewis. More Keaschalls, and less Mirandas are needed to change the identity of this team.
  14. Minnesota no different than anywhere else. We’re a front runner state and support the teams that make the playoffs. And push aside the teams that don’t. NFL is king so they’ll sell out whether they win 14 games or 3 games. The Wild have been consistent winners over the last decade+, but there were dark times when they weren’t winning and tickets were easy to come by. You don’t have to look too far back with the Timberwolves to see they were a laughing stock with no real fan base.
  15. My bad. I turned it to this game because Wild are in between periods. Just in time to see that walk off. Oof.
  16. I guess it’s too much to ask for one of our top prospects to have a normal development cycle.
  17. Oh good. We have some boozed up Cleveland fans right next to the microphone. That surely won’t get annoying throughout the game
  18. What the hell man. Why can’t we have nice things?
  19. The game should have been wrapping up by now, then wait for the Wild game at 8:30. Alas, the Twins game will be on the back burner tonight
  20. Both Dan Hayes and Phil Miller are fuming right now. And it’s hard to blame them. We’re wasting time for no reason.
  21. It’s only fair to let others spend 15-20 seconds scrolling and scrolling wondering when it’s ever going to end
  22. Another crisis averted. Little did I know FOX 9 Chief Meteorologist Ian Leonard works in Cleveland as well
