  1. Check the "Rule V" column on the chart from this link: http://twinsdaily.com/organization-chart.html
  2. I know, but not a great time and place for rehab assignments. IMO he is more likely to be assigned to the Fort Myers facility.
  3. Kernels regular season is over.
  4. "Reason number 5,001 why Ryan has no business being a major league GM anymore" Four reasons that you are mistaken Tommy Milone for Sam Fuld. Kevin Jepsen for AlexisTapia and Chih Wei Hu. Eduardo Escobar for Francisco Liriano. Eduardo Nunez for Miguel Sulbaran. .
  5. That's my story and I'm staying with it!
  6. Milone and Jepsen for Sam Fuld, Chih-Weii-Hu and Alexis Tapia didn't hurt either.
  7. Someone started a thread this morning by asking what the Lookouts playoff rotation would be. IDK the answer, but the regular season ended with the following rotation. 9/1 Baxendale 9/3 Wheeler 9/4 Hurlbut 9/5 Peavey 9/6 Lee 9/7 Slegers From that I would guess the rotation will be: Baxendale, Hurlbut, Peavey and Lee.
  8. Not likely until the Lookouts are eliminated from their playoffs.
  9. A year ago "the answer for everything" was that it is Gardy and Anderson's fault. People just want simple solutions.
  10. Michael Bowden just finished his Rochester season: 11-5 W-L; 2.68 ERA; 1.15 WHIP; 7.24 K/9IP: If the Twins don't bring him to MLB, he will be in another organization,SOON! (either this season, or next season)
  11. Umpires MUST remain the elephant in the room. It is detrimental to think or speak of them, because you can't do ANYTHING about them. Everyone one should concern themselves EXCLUSIVELY with factors that THEY can control and NOT ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE DISTRACTED by independent factors, including umpires!
  12. Hey! Hey! Whaddya Say! Tyler Jay or Trevor May? Or give the old guy another Day!!! No freakin' WAY!!
  13. He went from 23 for 23, hurt his neck, and tone month later, he gets euthanized on a blog! Racehorses get better treatment!
  14. Berrios is the scheduled starting pitcher for Rochester Saturday.
  15. Fien has 29K, 5BB, 1.08WHIP. WHIP is better than Perkin's, trailing only Jepson on current staff.
  16. Fien's WHIP is 2nd best on team LEADING Perkins and trailing only Jepson. I really don't care HOW you get outs. If you start an inning, outs are outs. You don't need K's, if your WHIP is just over 1.0.
  17. Yes, but he could be off-loaded (if it's a good idea) after the season, prior to Rule V. Right now, he could replace Aaron Thompson or Logan Darnell.(for example)
  18. Then USE HIM AS A RELIEVER!!!
  19. The Twins could still call up Michael Bowden from Rochester and JT Chargois from Chattanooga. Bowden 10-5W-L, 2.68ERA, 117 IP, 1.12WHIP; started and relieved in AAA, 6 yrs/133Innings. in MLB. Former 1st round pick of Red Sox In 2005...Now 28-yrs-old. Chargois has only pitched 30 innings this year.; 2.93 ERA, Twins 2nd round draft pick in 2012. Likely to be on 40-man-roster after season anyway.
  20. No, it is relevant, because it may have been Ryan who recommended signing Sano and Smith ran with Ryan's idea. If you need to blame Ryan because he wasn't in charge at the time, you are going to pull a hammy stretching at your age.
  21. Does ANYONE realize that the guy in charge often acts on information supplied by the guys NOT in charge?
  22. I need a break from this argument, so temporarily I am going to deal with trivial issues.....like Trump vs. Hillary.
  23. "Why are there no concerns about Duffey's arm if innings are a concern for Berrios? So when does Duffey get shut down?!" In Duffy's case, innings are the ONLY concern. In Berrios' case, there are at least three concerns: 1) Innings 2) Unnecessarily taking a spot on the 40-man BEFORE the Rule V draft. (Duffy is already on the 40-man) 3) Berrios is yet not in the MLB rotation, but Duffy is.
  24. They need room for four, so if Fryer, Boyer and Hunter are all off the roster, they still need one more spot (Berrios's?) for the Rule V's I would want to protect. As far as ME complaining about this year's Gilmartin, that's not me. I already know that other teams like some of our players that WE don't like. I'm the guy who other posters ask, "Do you owe TR money, or something?"
