Solid post. His value will never be higher. Must take what you can get for him now. I see a regression coming. I'll also agree his free fall in 2015 shouldn't be overlooked. Pressure of a pennant race too much for him to handle? Then heading into 2016 with playoff expectations he once again collapsed to start the season. Is he another Glen Perkins? Thrive on losing teams and fall apart when the games become meaningful?

The 1987 ALCS. Probably my greatest sports memory. It was magical. NBC's intro was magical. A version of "Take me out to the ballgame" with a little boy finding a magical baseball. And NBC's baseball theme they played before and after games.......ingrained in my mind forever. Gaetti's two home runs. Magic. The comeback. Puckett's double driving in Gladden. Magic. As the ending credits rolled after game one, and NBC's baseball music played to a replay of gladden sliding into home, Bob Costas with the immortal words "And for all the doubters, the Minnesota Twins are very much for real". Chills up my spine. Pretty amazing experience for a 13 year old.- 48 replies

The main argument was against the people whining that correia shouldnt have even come out for the 8th. And the more i think about it, especially after just hearing gardy with dubay, i could go either way on leaving him in with a runner in 3rd.
