  1. It was a good season but you cant win against good teams without quality pitchers who can perform against teams with winning records. Also Rocco showed that he was a rookie coach. The curse continues.
  2. This would be a huge loss. Not a series ender but a big loss if Arraez is out against the Yanks. Why arent people pointing out the obvious again with Rocco when it comes to the point of playing people that are going to be starters in the playoffs? This game was completely meaninless.
  3. 4 homers given up to a team that ranks 25th in home runs doesnt exactly scream elite.
  4. Toss a good game against a quality team and I will be impressed. Glad we got the win.
  5. He has pulled pitchers quite often with mid 80s pitch counts. I would be curious what the actual stat is.
  6. I disagree. I wont explain again because I posted before. If Rocco was so worried about Rodgers he would of never brought him in to bail Dyson out. One more note, if they wanted to use him to just use him than have him pitch in the 7th or 8th which is why he was brought over.
  7. If this is true than he should not have been used anyhow. We had rested arms and it is clear that Rocco knew Rodgers could pitch since he used him to bail Dyson out.
  8. Tough loss and I dont blame Rocco for using Dyson, but I just don't think he should of been used in the 9th.
  9. Well judging from Falvey's comments, the Twins are not going to make any moves. He mentioned that our bullpen is fine and that the players we have brought up will help. The Twins have NEVER made a significant move before the deadline with the exception of Shannon Stewart, so I dont expect this pattern to be broke now.
  10. This team will likely lose the division and squeak into the wild card. When the trade deadline passes without a whimper hopefully fans will realize that the owners don't care about a world series. The Twins have NEVER made a significant trade except for Stewart before the trade deadline. Let that sink in for a moment.
  11. With all the errors it is blatantly clear that Rocco is a weak manager. What exactly has he brought to the table? The shift? The Twins are quickly heading into the direction of being sellers. The babying the team is not working and it shows by their piss poor attempts at the fundamentals of baseball like catching, bunting, and base running. He is not the answer and the Twins do not have a playoff contending team without substantial upgrades to the team.
  12. Twins are starting to walk the line between being buyers to being sellers.
  13. All I am saying is he isnt some magical manager. His lack of emotion during the game and his take practice whenever approach is showing overall when it comes to errors. There has been many instances that shows he is lacking experience.
  14. This is a direct correlation with Rocco being a bad manager. The errors continue to build up because he simply lets the players do whatever. His after game speeches and his lack of emotion on the field is tiresome also.
  15. You are seeing the slow decline of our pitching staff.
  16. Lose one game and people are acting like the wheels have come off the bus.
  17. Sano hasnt changed his approach at all when it comes to chasing pitches. The nice thing is that it wont take management long to recognize that he is a pile of crap in about 2 weeks when he is hitting below .200 because he chases everything.
  18. We know that Buxton has a problem with the head games sometimes. He is a streaky player and I think it is to early to move him anywhere yet. If he continues doing what he is doing for the month of May than move him up a couple of spots, but it is nice to have someone who can bat at the bottom of the order.
  19. We already knew that if we even had a couple of injuries that this team would fall apart quickly. I believe this is going to happen.
