  1. If this is true than he should not have been used anyhow. We had rested arms and it is clear that Rocco knew Rodgers could pitch since he used him to bail Dyson out.
  2. Tough loss and I dont blame Rocco for using Dyson, but I just don't think he should of been used in the 9th.
  3. Well judging from Falvey's comments, the Twins are not going to make any moves. He mentioned that our bullpen is fine and that the players we have brought up will help. The Twins have NEVER made a significant move before the deadline with the exception of Shannon Stewart, so I dont expect this pattern to be broke now.
  4. This team will likely lose the division and squeak into the wild card. When the trade deadline passes without a whimper hopefully fans will realize that the owners don't care about a world series. The Twins have NEVER made a significant trade except for Stewart before the trade deadline. Let that sink in for a moment.
  5. With all the errors it is blatantly clear that Rocco is a weak manager. What exactly has he brought to the table? The shift? The Twins are quickly heading into the direction of being sellers. The babying the team is not working and it shows by their piss poor attempts at the fundamentals of baseball like catching, bunting, and base running. He is not the answer and the Twins do not have a playoff contending team without substantial upgrades to the team.
  6. Twins are starting to walk the line between being buyers to being sellers.
  7. All I am saying is he isnt some magical manager. His lack of emotion during the game and his take practice whenever approach is showing overall when it comes to errors. There has been many instances that shows he is lacking experience.
  8. This is a direct correlation with Rocco being a bad manager. The errors continue to build up because he simply lets the players do whatever. His after game speeches and his lack of emotion on the field is tiresome also.
  9. You are seeing the slow decline of our pitching staff.
  10. Lose one game and people are acting like the wheels have come off the bus.
  11. Sano hasnt changed his approach at all when it comes to chasing pitches. The nice thing is that it wont take management long to recognize that he is a pile of crap in about 2 weeks when he is hitting below .200 because he chases everything.
  12. We know that Buxton has a problem with the head games sometimes. He is a streaky player and I think it is to early to move him anywhere yet. If he continues doing what he is doing for the month of May than move him up a couple of spots, but it is nice to have someone who can bat at the bottom of the order.
  13. We already knew that if we even had a couple of injuries that this team would fall apart quickly. I believe this is going to happen.
  14. Not really sure why this comes as any surprise with the Twins. The last few years we have started out hot and nose dived from there. Same thing is bound to happen this uear because of pitching.
  15. This might be only one game but it shows how far this team is from being able to compete against high payroll teams.
  16. I think the Buxton experiment is almost done. Depending how long he is hurt and if he is going to start swinging at the outside pitch i am hoping the Twins qill move on quickly. I havent been impressed with his defense yet this early season. His throw to home was terrible and his leap against the wall wasnt close. I also believe the coach can tighten up a couple of things too. The turtle really should of been pinched ran for in the 10th and he is starting to rely on one or two people solely in the bp. He pulled Berrios entirely to early also.
  17. This thread is so typical when it comes to Minnesota fan reaponse to a loss. It is only game 2 and people are acting like the Twins are already doomed. We played Cleveland hard and hopefully take the series today. I thought the O man looked decent but was a little erratic. Buxton looks like he is seeing the ball and is no longer chasing as much, and aside from Parker the bullpen looks strong.
  18. This is a really stupid story and Falvey sounds like a huge creeper in it.
  19. He went to the M's debate over.
