    I'm pretty sure most people here are wanting a GM hired from outside the organization. I'm not sure I've read anyone argue other-wise. This trade of Nunez, IMO, was a good move and I'm not going to temper my opinion of it because it gets followed up by the decision to sit a prospect like Polanco on the bench again. Just like this Nunez trade doesn't say to me, 'Hey, maybe we should seriously consider Antony to permanently get the GM job.' If I had to guess, Antony said what he said about Polanco after talking to Molitor, who should have been let go with Ryan.

    yeah, I realized that and took it off my post. thanks. either way, having three SPs on a top 10 prospect list isn't new for us. It sure doesn't mean we're for sure going to have a really good rotation soon. They have to prove it here. And I was reading an update on MLB.coms' prospect watch listing a week or two ago and if had Gonsalves as like #97. As I look now, he's back out of it. They change it quite often, it seems.

    I'll miss seeing his helmet fly off in the same way I missed Punto's headfirst slides at first :-)

    I think this is an important fact to remind people of. Having said that, I think it's still a good haul for a player of Nunez caliber.

    Well, Santana is under-paid right now, and Baltimore and Pitt could really use a jump in pitching. But I hear ya.

    If Nunez was worth a top 100 prospect, I wonder what Ervin Santana would fetch us.

    I'd be happy if they worked on Buxton's HITTING, period. The least of his batting problems is he can't bunt. This guy has been a top 2 prospect for three years and strikes out roughly 40% of the time while looking clueless at the plate at a much higher %.

    Should anyone lose their jobs? This team has been horrible for years. Has it all just been bad luck? Ryan didn't deserve to lose his job, Johnson doesn't deserve to lose his job. Antony doesn't either? I just keep reading how no one deserves to be fired (opinion is not always the OPs) Can we all at least agree MOLITOR should be fired? Can we all get behind that? :-)
