    Hasn't had even one year where he got paid that and only has two coming up for sure. In any event, that's not really much for a starting veteran player. How many All Star games does he have? How often is he on a top 10 CF list, etc?

    'Twins are one of only 4 teams to not have a pitcher hit a home run in inter-league play'--Dick Bremer. He says this as they show a graphic that lists the Twins AND four other teams. So that's 5 teams, Richard.

    Poor Span continues to be devalued by our fan base. One of the most under-rated players in the game and certainly under-rated by a huge chunk of the Twins fan base when he was here and now that he's gone.

    Doesn't small ball require guys who can get on base and a team that doesn't strike out a lot?

    Only for the last part because I know how much short sample size likes to be pointed out on those while short sample size seems okay for more traditional stats :-)

    Twins starters have the highest GB rate in the AL. Twins starters are 14th in the AL in K/9IP. 9th in FIP. Twins pitching staff 11th in K/9IP. 10th in FIP. 9th in DRS, 9th in UZR :-)
