    I still think the ever expanding called strike zone for someone who has such a keen eye was part of the K issue Joe had, such as it was.

    I'm a firm believer in the idea that your best hitter should bat 2nd. Mauer batting there gives our best OBP guy more PAs meaning more opportunity for the power guys.

    Nunez is the same player he was before this season, a decent bat with below average defense. A decent utility guy who should be played sparingly. He's like reverse Punto.

    I think we can applaud Arcia for some offensive improvement without making things up like his defense is looking good :-)

    Mauer isn't as slow as some think he is and he's a very smart baserunner to boot.
