  1. I agree. Play Kepler in CF for 2 or 3 weeks and see if you can handle it. If can, his major league is off the ground. Playing Santana anywhere in the field makes no sense to me.
  2. To be accurate, as stated in the article, Buxton has struck out in 49% of his plate appearances.
  3. I also would like to see Polanco play every day for a week or two or a month. This is the third year in a row he has got a cup of coffee. The guy is buzzed on coffee! Give him a break, and start him at second or third or SS.
  4. I did meet a guy (in his mid-sixties maybe) last fall who grew up in DC and it was fun that he grew up rooting for Killebrew and Allison etc. as Senators. Back when that wasn't a swear word, naturally. NATIONALS: Is that any for a team?
  5. There's a whole lotta hatin goin on.
  6. Sano used his left hand which was in a glove to make that catch!
  7. Some older fans in the Washington area look at the Twins like some Minnesotans look at the Dallas Stars. Just sayin that I hate that phrase "just sayin."
  8. The Twins are playing like an expansion team.
  9. Just because I haven't seen Joe (Mauer, McCarthy, or Madden -- the 3 M Boys) in Right Field, doesn't mean I wouldn't like to. Yes, Park, Sano, and one of the 3M boys in there at the same time in a National League Park, I like it. I'll get on the phone with Molly (4M) right now.
  10. I don't disagree with your plan, but I feel that I must (I must) point out that Joe Mauer has played in the outfield a total of one inning in his career, and that was in 2011. Do you know something I don't? Of course you do, but I mean about Mauer in the outfield.
  11. Chauncy Gardner
  12. Dinger, you're way off! Your metrical analysis is horrible. Just kidding, the Royals are a real TEAM.
  13. On the topic of team chemistry in general, what team do you think has the most fun playing together? From what I've seen it is Texas. They seem to really get along and have fun, which is why I think they are winnners.
  14. Don't disagree with anything you wrote except regarding Mastroianni. He belongs in a Fellini film more than in a Twins uniform. Did that sound snarky?
  15. "Ain't no ash will burn." Old-time country song.
  16. I was too discouraged to think about it. Thanks.
  17. The Twins came into the game leading the league in giving up unearned runs (10) ... Gameday says all the runs today have been earned. Huh?
  18. He's been going the opposite way really well lately, just making solid contact, and he's been rewarded with a starting job. He hits a homerun and ... he tries to launch a grandslam the next time up. I think, though, that Arcia is figuring it out. Next time in that situation maybe he won't swing for outer space.
  19. You should have encouraged him to make contact.
  20. Rainy Day Women #12 & #35 = 420. Odd, isn't it?
