    I normally don't like to draft for need in the MLB due to the long time it takes between the draft and the MLB. But at #15 if nobody has drafted a catcher I would like to see the Twins spring on the best one.

    Man I know errors are not a predictive stat but.... Gordon's got a lot of errors, Vielma's got a lot of errors Escobar is about to ask for a raise!

    Meyer should start over Milone. Starting today. Its a rebuilding year and if Meyer has finially found it then the Twins will have an ace for the next 4-5 years. Run him out there, if he falters put Milone back in. Why not?

    My hope is Berrios Duffey and Meyer all stay up in the Twins Rotation. So hopefully a whole slew of promotions will follow

    Its early but Vielma is hitting way better than I thought he would. That couldn't be more encouraging!

    Its all so clear to me now. Turner is the reason that Ryan let Hicks go for nothing and is now carrying 39 guys on the 40 man. The master plan is evident!

    Harrison is such a damn tease Scouts like his swing, his plate approach looks good but he hasn't hit Boy oh boy if he took off and turned his career around that would be a big shot in the arm

    Its time to rip the band aid off and end the pain of 2016. Call up everyone! Turner, Walker, Kepler, Polanco, Berrios, Meyer, The Bullpen prospects Trade/Cut Everyone else! Fien, Perkins, Jepsen, Suzuki, Dozier, Plouffe, Mauer, Hughes, Santana, Nolasco, Milone Fire fire fire, trade trade trade Then take the rest of the summer off.

    Mauer has played 920 games at catcher Cochrane played 1,451 games at catcher Thats a big distinction.

    Any idea why Mientkiewicz would have Michael bat 9th? The offensive talent on that team is shaky and if Michael has proven one thing, he can take get on base and hit for a little power. 9th seems odd for a like Michael.

    Wade needs to face better competition before he can be fairly evaluated. I also was bummed about that trade, but Jepsen has contributed to the big league club and so far the trade is working out for the Twins and the Rays. Seems like a pretty fair trade in my book so far.

    Any injury updates on guys like Walker? Burdi? Vielma?

    Yeah, its only 11 games, but he has been getting on base and hitting for power. A good start! He still gets caught stealing a bit too often. But thats just nitpicking.

    Have they always done this? I don't remember a Twins minor league team having 5 starters who all have MLB potential like FM does, so maybe I never noticed.

    How long do you think fort myers will stick with a six man rotation? Hopefully that ends due to a deserved promotion in the next few weeks

    90+? Really? I would expect his SO numbers would be a bit better with that mix.

    Why is Polanco playing DH? Is there an injury or something? Its early I know it early but its discouraging that he has only played 2B. The scuttlebutt during spring was the Twins were going to move him all over the IF and test him at 3B as well as a little SS. Unless the plan is to move away from Dozier his clearest path the MLB is as utility guy so I would like to see him actually play that role.

    You're not trying to give the Twins FO a pass because of "inexperience" on this roster for the start of the season are you? This line up is not young nor is it inexperienced. The line up has a good mix of youth, guys in their prime and inexperience and experience. Suzuki - Age 33 1108 G . Dozier - Age 29 553 G Escobar - Age 27 394 Plouffe - Age 30 3643 G Mauer - 33 1465 G

    Yup Agree. Trade everyone not nailed down and go young. (Of course, then they will get criticized for being cheap later but if the young kids learn and improve, who cares)

    All I ask for is a few polished college bats who have a good understanding of the strike zone. And then push them up straight to the MLB team.

    6 games in and AB Walker has played in only 3 games? Are they platooning Walker or just keeping Rodriguez's hot bat in the lineup?

    Dont you think its too early in his career to do a retrospective? Also, 20 dollas? To "meet" a 2nd year player? Ridiculous.
