    I completely agree. By no means was I trying to suggest that his career was ruined by the Astros. Not to mention there are plenty of pitchers in the league that were shelled by the sign-stealing Astros and are still on major league rosters...

    Was having some fun looking at some offensive statistics from various Astros hitters from 2013 to 2019. Found some interesting things that I thought I'd share...I apologize in advance for how strenuous it might be to look at these thin convoluted lines... I'd recommend looking at one at a time OPS 7/10 hitters saw their OPS spike up and then fall back down in 2018 (Josh Reddick joined Houston in the 2017 season. In 2016-2017-2018 with LAD-HOU-HOU his OPS went .643 - .847 - .718 and has a career .753 OPS)Bregman's OPS and White's OPS shot up in 2017 and then continued to rise in 2018Evan Gattis' OPS dropped in 2017 and 2018 Swinging % 8/10 hitters saw their Swinging % drop in 2017 (Josh Reddick, without a huge change, went from 44.2% in 2016 to 43.7% in 2017 then back up to 44.4% in 2018)Evan Gattis and Tyler White's Swinging % both shot up in 2017 Hard Hit % 8/10 hitters increased their Hard Hit % in 2017 (95 mph+ exit velocity)Take a look at 2018 --> 2019... Batting Average Everybody increased their Average in 2017...Thanks for reading.

    I'd like to see the bullpen close it out and earn the win outright, but I wouldn't be OVERLY upset if they called it. Would ironically work out in our favor after last night.

    Okay hearing the radio call of those two runs felt pretty good. Somebody would have thought they were hearing a playoff game. "TROUT CANT THERE ITS GONNA HOP OFF THE WALL!!!"

    I kind of feel as if their first win is going to be very anti-climactic. At 0-4, it would have been "HOORAH!" Now at 0-9, it's going to feel more along the lines of "Oh. Now we're 1-9. Cool." Implied there is my prediction that they will win tonight. One way or another, go Twins!

    I am not a big proponent of giving up an out and bunting guys over. But until this team can prove they can take a professional at bat with RISP I think they need to bunt and hope someone can at least put a ball into the outfield before the next strikeout. Well, apparently they even suck at that

    I do think in a perfect world it would be nice prolonging his bat as long as possible and keeping him at the DH would do that. David Ortiz has had incredible numbers at age 37,38 and 39 and will probably do it once again at age 40. I'm sure this discussion has been had but I didn't see it at the time. Is there no chance of forcing Park to play at right and let him and Kepler fight for playing time? Would he be even worse than Sano in right?

    So far Grimes, not liking your prediction lmao. Tom Brady is on a mission. Also, currently a student at the Univ of Arizona so I have a soft spot for Gronkowski.

    I think the Bucs will be much worse than that. Rookie QB with a BAD offensive line. I think it is about time Andrew Luck wins the MVP. I also think the Bills and Raiders could potentially post an 8-8 + records. Raiders need good D play and Bills need good O play but they could be pretty solid teams. That Raiders O out of nowhere looks kind of scary if Derek Carr plays better this year than he did last year.

    If we were willing to let him come up this year and finish the year in the bullpen, why not let him start next year in the bullpen? Why wait a month or two?

    How about the sheer fact that we have reason to even talk about this sort of thing. Would it not be awesome if the Twins had a top Offensive players? Ryan Howard in his prime struck out a lot but would you have not taken his production in his prime years?
