I don't like where this one appears to be heading.
Paddack seems to be having problems putting batters away and finishing innings. Not a good combination.
I hope they decide to show up next game, because they sure didn't in this game.
I'd be hard-pressed to find anything positive coming out of this dud of a game, outside the fact it's now over.
Not a good start at all to this game. Down 3 already, with some questionable defense and something well short of spectacular pitching.
Need to do a LOT better, boys, especially with Cleveland already losing today.

I don't disagree with your point at all. We obviously don't know what Rocco says or does behind closed doors, but it appears as though he's reluctant to blame anyone, as it doesn't seem to be in his nature.
In some cases, I agree completely with that. But to imply it's largely the manager's fault alone is being very short-sighted, IMHO.
I feel that some posters here are taking that approach more often than is probably necessary.
