  1. And the bats continue to be functioning at a very feeble level. Makes them very difficult to watch far more often than not, like tonight.
  2. Personally, I wouldn't count on any of that happening.
  3. The bases loaded walk issued by Staumont was the final straw.
  4. I'm rapidly losing my interest in watching this team look totally helpless on the mound, at the plate, and in the field.
  5. I'm not sure that most of them would know how to hit one anyway.
  6. Provus already stated that Sands is warming up.
  7. Beginning to look like we're getting it anyway. Not good.
  8. I suspect he'll go back down when Lewis or Miranda come off the IL, whichever one is the first to return. Or maybe Diego A. Castillo is first?
  9. Yet another loss in a very winnable game. Sigh!
  10. He's not the only one who should be paying attention.
  11. Geez, Duran can't throw a strike to save his life. Pitch speed means nothing if you can't get the ball over the plate. Beginning to look like yet another loss in a game that was very winnable. Sigh!
  12. More impressive clutch hitting with the bases loaded. NOT! AARGH. Par for the course, unfortunately.
  13. I can definitely see that coming, sad to say.
  14. Based on what I've seen the past 3 series, I don't have much in the way of high hopes for the series against a Phillies team that's a lot better than the Brewers are, across the board. I really wish I did, but the maddening inconsistency of this team, along with a manager who seems utterly clueless, more often than not, doesn't give me a very good feeling right now.
  15. This team continues to demonstrate time and time again that it is almost incapable of winning games when they're not hitting the ball at least reasonably well during the game. Save for the Santana HR in the 11th, that was the case. Add in the physical errors, mental errors, questionable decision-making by the manager, and generally poor bullpen work, and this is what you oftentimes end up with. Very frustrating for us fans to watch!
  16. I believe I've seen as much of this clown show as I can handle. Yet another example of us getting exactly what we deserved. How pathetic, and disappointing!
