  1. That wasn't a winnable game. This one definitely was. Big difference, in my mind.
  2. And the puny, so-called offense, has cost us yet another winnable game. Just disgusting!
  3. And the return question would be, "Why not?".
  4. To put it mildly. More "R" rated terms would be more appropriate, but I won't use them here. You guys are smart enough to guess about where I'd be headed with that, if so inclined.
  5. I can't help but wonder if his presence, plus with Royce thrown into the fire at 2nd, that maybe Julien is the one moving out to make room for Buck's return. I can definitely see the logic behind such a move.
  6. In my mind, this game now is basically over. Just disgusting!
  7. At least Ober won't pick up an undeserved loss now. A small consolation, for sure.
  8. Not with this ownership/management group. They're probably viewing this as being right where they like operating.
  9. But a piss poor game by the offense, which is so bad now that they seemingly can't bat their way out of wet paper bag if their lives depended on it.
  10. I couldn't agree more! Right now, we're not even remotely close to being a playoff caliber team. And adding back Correa and Buxton isn't likely to move the needle very much. Also, it doesn't help that the powers that be don't seem to even care one iota, since all we've gotten from them since well before the trade deadline is a whole lot of crickets chirping and virtually no action to speak of. A fat lot of good that's doing us. I sure hope they're proud of themselves for letting the players and the fan base down. OK, I'm done venting now.
  11. It's beginning to look more and more like a miracle that we even won twice in that stretch. If every member of this team isn't subjecting himself to some serious soul-searching regarding what's been happening lately, then there's something seriously wrong here.
  12. I'd add that team morale appears to be virtually nonexistent, to boot.
  13. I just don't know how to label this team. Team schizo comes to mind. Or maybe team Jekyll and Hyde.
  14. To me, it's a sign of sinking morale on the team. Clearly not a good situation to be in. Rocco can say all he wants, but actions speak louder than words.
  15. Enough of this garbage for one night. I'm out, too.
  16. Someone needs to find out what's wrong with Duran, because most of what we've seen this season just isn't cutting it. Maybe we need a new closer.
  17. My thoughts exactly! He may throw 100+, but it seldom plays out very well.
