  1. Bunnies are not ish to eat! You sauté them a little, a side of German potato salad, and a nice fruity white!
  2. In winter I put my hands in Zuchinnis. They are cheaper than leather gloves, and edible after use. The only drawback is it's hard to text with them on!
  3. Ick if it hits you and stays in one piece, ish if it's intestines spray all over your face!
  4. I would greatly fear Brian's would begin "there was a man fron Nantucket"
  5. It was a rare tuna that listened to Charlie!
  6. I bet there is something green in it. Add some bacon, tomatoes, and French dressing! My grandma was Josephine, but she never mentioned you!
  7. There is no dispute Hicks has a bit of an stubborn, yet air head quality to him. Other notable Twins failures that have had that liability? Carlos Gomez and Matt Garza. Since Gardy was here so long, it seemed like the Twins Doghouse was his property. But maybe there was a silent partner. Molitor makes pronouncements and excuses for players being here, or not. But is that the "good soldier" bit? They sent Hicks down to improve, he has done his part. He's not a 22 yr old rookie anymore, and he's not trying to replace Mike Trout or Torri Hunter! And it's time to get a handle on this decision. This is still a very flawed baseball team. Keep shuffling the chairs!
  8. Then you are in for a sad sad life!
  9. This is so aggravating, I bought new headphones for my tv, and they ain't worth crap. They make a sound like some idiot beating a drum! Back to Best Buy tomorrow!
  10. It depends if it's Burger King or Mc Donalds
  11. RB, if your new toilet runs over, you might have your water park and a water closet all 360 easy payments!
  12. Yes, there are Twins fans in and out of TF, and all over MN who have a strong disrespect of Danny! Lol
  13. Something tells me duck call night would be extremely interesting!
  14. Poe took English, I am not sure I can say that about Sid!
  15. We did the same thing, saw that sign that said 3 miles, and could not resist. I thought the one building was a bar, or a barn, in Texas it's hard to tell the difference. Without going to the Google, it seems to me that it was near the LBJ ranch? Btw, I did not see Waylon, Willy, or even any boys!
  16. Suzuki was described in the Trib, by I think LE3 as the Twins emotional leader, or something to that extent after he got whacked by Oswaldos foul ball. Now a snarky commentator would mention that he thought that position was Torii's, but since I am not snarky I would never do that. Kurt sees to be viewed as having a value behind the plate above and beyond his numbers. Combine that with their well earned reputation of not sitting a veteran without his permission, means Pinto would have to be the second coming of a younger Mauer to move him out of there this year, or sadly next year also.
  17. So much of this conjecture would be clearer if one knew if the Twins viewed themselves as contender possible, or strictly rebuild? So far they appear to be in the delusional contender (DC) bracket. Meaning they go the veteran route. May to Rochester, and Ricky to the rotation. But in the DC mode Pelf should go to the pen, Milone May and Ricky to the rotation, and you pick em to Rochester. I don't really like Milone, but the current Pelfrey is a apparation, and will soon vanish. In the rebuild mode, Milone goes to the pen, a pen guy goes to Rochester, and you allow Pelf and Ricky to hopefully build a resume for trade bait. And if they do, pull the pin sooner than later. On a side note, it's a sign of the level of mediocrity of this team, that there is angst over the removal of a SP on yet again one of the worst staffs in MLB.
  18. That is a very good point. Does anyone know why he was pulled after 68 pitches? The hits and runs are a problem. Or the walks are a problem. But it looks like either or. Unless a unforeseen miracle happens, he does not look like a corner hitting type pitcher. I would imagine by now his head is spinning and he has lost any confidence he ever had. Sometimes players are not good matches for an orginisation. This might be one. The Twins are a control pitcher oriented operation, and he isn't that type of pitcher. This could turn into an ongoing saga. You can draft big arms, but if you don't allow for the different style of pitching that entails, it will not be a successful transition from the control type mantra that was the preferred style in the past.
  19. Regarding pinch hitting Escobar, what are your choices? Mauer is the only one that is hitting at all. Plouffe maybe? And they were both in the lineup. This is really not a good offensive team. Dozier has completely sold out on the inside pitch, and seems to be getting more and more frustrated. Virtually every young hitter in the orginisation is struggling. It's like it's a disease.
  20. Good news TD threaders! Nolasco reports his arm felt wonderful, and he is ready to go! YEAH
  21. The post office? At 10 pm? Where I live the post office closes at 1 pm. She goes home for lunch!
  22. Since Torii left Detroit, it's obvious no one is mentoring base runners!
