    Balls to both gaps hook/slice depending on batter handedness, balls hit right at you can freeze you for a split second, often the difference between an out or a hit (maybe for extra bases), and despite the CF being the supposed captain of the OF, other fielders often fail to yield/back off and collisions can and do happen. CF is real easy to play from the bench or your La-Z-Boy....

    IF Keaschall makes that catch in the 6th (the 3rd out), the Twins lead 4-3. Morris is not trying to throw perfect pitches (getting lit up in the process), and the BP use for the 7th, 8th, and 9th is different. Playing Keaschall in CF is 100% not an option going forward, but you do not demote the teams best hitter, you find a better way to lessen the impact of his defense. Keaschall at 2B and Clemens in CF may have been a better option, though I think Kreidler could have matched Keaschall's 0-5 at the plate (possibly due to trying make up for his defensive misplays). Constantly playing with a short bench is not a good strategy, and becomes even worse when a player occurs an injury that may only take a couple of days off to heal (I don't want to hear any Buxton comments, its a general statement).
