He's really good. I had a friend who joked that Buxton can't be a good CFer because he never has to dive for anything (he's just that fast). To my untrained eye, he's remarkable. His speed is on another level and he reads the ball really well. There have been a few times where I thought the opponent had a bloop single off the bat and Buxton makes what looks like a pretty easy catch.

In all honesty, it's extremely stupid. Unless you know more than what normal, "Motley Fool" readers or Barron subscribers know, you're making a pretty big risk. And I think you're older than me so you should be a bit more conservative with the money. You'll need it when Trump destroys our social security/medicaid/health care.

Adell going #2? Interesting. I love the guy and want the Twins to get him but that doesn't seem possible. Enlow sounds a lot like a pitcher the Twins would be interested in - good command and a secondary pitch already. Needs to add weight. Would be very happy with him. Nice job.

I would absolutely love it if the Twins took Romero at 35/37. Nab McKay or Wright at 1 (save a little money), Romero at 35 (save a little more money) and see if a top 20 talent is somehow still on the board at 37.

Fangraphs write up on the Twins included this small nugget on Curtiss - "Curtiss throws 94-96 with life but has issues repeating his release point and his 84-86 mph slider is fringey. You could argue it’s a 70 fastball based on the movement."

Sure but let's take this all down a notch. This is a rich baseball player staying out all night getting drunk and blowing off work the next day. I did this when I was in college too. My boss caught me and I damn near lost my job. I think we can all sit back and comfortably enjoy this muck up without having to create mountains or drag in alcoholics. It's a rich ass acting like an ass and being forced to apologize for it. I don't think we've evolved so much that we can't all enjoy that at least on a superficial level.

Sure you can. Molitor and Allen were/are addicts which is a pretty severe problem. Harvey is acting like a spoiled frat boy who can't get his **** ****** by a super model. But no one is "opposing" Harvey so much as saying, "what an ass."

I honestly can't see how anyone can be ok with this Russia thing but maybe people are just ignoring it? I think when/if Flynn starts talking, we might see some more movement against Trump but it's also worth remembering that Trump is historically unpopular with a negative -13% or so on his favorable/unfavorable ratings.

We've promoted from AA to the majors quite a bit so I'm ok with them in AA. Burdi has 11 innings above A ball and missed almost an entire year so I think it's fair for him to spend two months or so in AA. But at a certain point - and I think we're coming close to it, they should get sent to the majors and then, if needed, sent to down to AAA.

Yeah, Burdi and Melotakis should get to the majors fairly soon. Neither are that young anymore. It's only been a few innings combined in AA so I get that they need some more seasoning but I hope we see them by the break.

Put it this way, would you want the Twins to take a rule v flier on Tyler Kolek under similar circumstances? But we probably have a few months before we have to worry about this.

Probably depends on what their scouts are saying. If he's still hitting 95 a team might take a flier on him in ST to see if they can "fix" him. Only cost them 50k.

Pretty worrisome stuff. It's not too hard to see a new FBI director ending any Trump investigations. Senate and House republicans end investigations as well. Sessions' DOJ continues to roll back voter rights and won't fight against gerrymandered districts giving the GOP a longterm majority ....

He then claimed a migraine and didn't show up for work. He apologized to everyone today and now might not file his grievance.
