  1. Yes. All us rubes had him pegged for a 1.200 lifetime OPS. Fortunately you are here to smarten us all up. Tell us more about Gasper now please.
  2. Id like to see a comparison of the combined running times of the top half of innings this series vs the bottom half.
  3. Well that half inning went to Schlittler.
  4. The hell did you do, Van? Cant get whatever the above is out of my response box.
  5. 5 starts above A ball but the "we did GOOD at the deadline" crowd has him winning 18 games next summer. Pitching to Tait by June 1st..
  6. Got a bad feeling about this one. We're gonna be up the proverbial Schlittler's Creek.
  7. Not to throw shade on this thread (seriously) but... How TF does Twins Daily not have a front page story on this...story yet?
  8. They'd be figureheads intended to stand in front of cameras and give "ownership" a fan friendlier image. Neither they nor any other limited partners are going to have any real say-so on the operation.
  9. How will that help anything?
  10. As far as the "debt" is concerned, I'll tell you what I think: I've maintained since TF was built the Pohlads didnt put one red cent into construction costs. They borrowed their portion from themselves (they own banks, yes?) and their banks earn interest on the Twins tax write off "debt" still unpaid from when TF was built. There's your debt.
  11. "Limited partners" don't get any say-so in how a business is run. This changes nothing except the Pohlads won't own 100 percent of the franchise. They're still calling the shots. Id also remind anyone trying to sell the fairytale the team isn't generating profits, the Tampa Bay Rays are in the final stages of being sold (for...wait for it...$1.7B) and they currently play in a minor league stadium with no firm long term stadium solution in place.
  12. And for the life of me I can't come up with one single solitary reason this makes any sense. What the hell are they preparing them for? There's no such role
  13. There are those who have stated this version of the Twins is more enjoyable to watch. I am not among those.
