  1. The Quick Trip patch on KC's uniforms is nauseating Edit: I'm glad they Twins haven't signed a deal to put advertising on their uniforms. I doubt that'll last, but at least for now, resist the urge to turn MLB into NASCAR.
  2. An Oyster Bunny. I'll see myself out
  3. 2 out RBI, the key to baseball. Be nice not to run ourselves out of the inning, although I suspect Larnach might have been trying to ensure the throw didn't go home.
  4. Herb Carneal. THE voice of Twins baseball.
  5. "Not enough." Yup, the math checks.
  6. Whatta ya get when you cross the Easter Rabbit with a shellfish?
  7. Boy, I dunno. KC looks pretty solid to me. Good pitching, best player in the division. Good defense.
  8. Almost 35 year old Sal Perez starting his 3rd consecutive game at catcher, 9th of 12 so far this season. Inconceivable
  9. Concur, although I'd go Larnach. Larnach's OF spot is tenuous anyway.
  10. Can't speak for Mike but I'm suggesting pointing fingers at Buxton, Larnach, Correa and France is sort of pointless. Yes, they have to produce. They're more important than Gasper. Way more. But there is nothing to be done about Larnach, Correa or Buxton. They're not coming out of the lineup, nor should they. However, something like Gasper is a self inflicted wound. He doesn't have to be part of the problem. France is a quandary, I'll concede. But he was always going to be the everyday 1st baseman from the minute he signed, and I don't know what available options are actually better.
  11. That's also how they "contributed" to building Target Field. They actually .made money through the interest they paid themselves.
  12. And i don't really know what could have been done to change Jax's throw. More PFP in spring, perhaps? But once that awful throw happened, I ABSOLUTELY know the manager's response could have been different. Maybe it would have turned out different, maybe not. But at least try the smart thing, ferpetesakes.
  13. They lost 2-1 giving up 2 unearned runs. They literally handed the game to KC. Yeah, the offense blows. It would have been enough tonight with just regular, normal defense.
  14. I would have thought SOMEone would ask Baldelli "why pitch to Pasquantino with 1 out and the go ahead run on 3rd? Slowest man in baseball on deck? A RH hitter to boot?" 150 years of managers walk Pasquantino there. But not Rocco. I mean, I know it's not a good situation either way, but c'mon. Edit much later: before I get accused of hindsight--and you'll just have to trust me on this--I asked this question in the game thread in real time prior to any results being known. My language may have been a tad more...colorful
