    Not even that long. I got a friend, we go to a bar to watch football, I always bet him a beer on replays. "I bet me makes that catch AGAIN!" "No way!!" He's getting suspicious but I'm up about 400 beers.

    Anybody who saw Lee casually jog after the ground ball that clanked off his glove last night...while the Cincy player who hit it streaked to second--knows where to start looking for answers. Instead, Baldelli has Lee in today's starting lineup.

    Nothing is ever Baldelli's fault. Nor his responsibility. Nothing. Ever. One wonders what exactly IS his job description.

    Brooks Lee made one of the laziest plays I've ever seen from a MLB player last night...and the manager starts him today. Lee literally gave away a base because he couldn't be bothered to even pretend to care. That's terrible on Lee, and even worse on a manager who allows it. This is a ROOKIE--a struggling rookie at that--and he's not the least bit worried about how such blatant lack of concern will be received. And as it turns out, he was right. No need to worry at all.
