  1. Buxton beats that out. // hahahahaha I kill me.
  2. Uponor? I barely knew 'er. bah-dum-tschhhh
  3. I hate when outfielders take four steps to get off a throw. When you have time, you should already be in your crow hop as the ball hits your glove, with the throw coming immediately on the step through. A great arm is wasted with that catch and throw from Wallner. I don't understand how a major league outfielder hasn't mastered better technique than that ridiculously slow exchange we just saw. He had all the time in the world to get set up, too.
  4. Sadly, noted baseball writer Mel Antonen passed away.
  5. Vazquez got all of that one...almost to the warning track!
  6. Let's put together an inning, ferpetesakes!
  7. 1st and 2nd, no out. 3-4-5 due up. Sounds like runs!!!
  8. I love the positivity! Keep it up!
  9. Let's just spot the Tigers and lead without them having to do a GD thing.
  10. Good god Correa. Easy ******* play.
  11. Leadoff walk. Paddack already in peak form.
  12. Uh...I, I dont know that. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
  13. What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
  14. I guess but that aint Funderburk.
  15. So, I realize it's a small sample size, but why would the team DFA Blewett? Hes one of the few pen pieces that's actually performed. I guess when you constantly use 4 to 6 relievers every game you're forced to churn for unused arms, but man, it just seems so .... what's the opposite of smart?
  16. Homer off Doyle Alexander to get the Twins a 1-0 lead in game 1 of that 87 ALCS, in my mind, set the tone for that series. I think it was the most important AB of that series. He homered again in game 1, BTW. The heavy underdog Twins were not going to fold.
  17. Ill go Torii Hunter
  18. The Rat. A very, very good player and I'd agree the best Twins 3rd baseman ever. Also that quote after the debacle in Cleveland is easily the greatest quote in team history. That alone earns him mega bonus points. Always enjoy your work, Al.
  19. GD ******* Apple TV. I pay for Twins TV and I still can't watch. Stupid ******* idiots. No wonder they can't give away tickets.
  20. Anywho...someone explain to me why Paddack and SWR need to be pushed back a day on April 11th. Anyone? Bueller?
  21. Hahahaha good one! ... Wait... this was deadpan sarcasm, right? RIGHT???
  22. I'm firmly in the "Rocco is objectively bad and must go" camp, but i had no problem with his decision to remove Ober yesterday. Watching the game, Ober was clearly losing his stuff and was, IMO, lucky to get through the 6th. I also generally believe in "lost leads late by a starter are on the manager, lost leads late by a reluever are on the reliever" theory. Sands was bad yesterday. Really bad. A HBP to the backup catcher? Can't put away the 9 hitter? That's on Sands. I want Rocco gone. Last year. There are so, so many reasons. But I don't think this is on him.
