    The thing is, baseball seasons are long. Post AS break "halves" are long. You're going to run into teams playing well, and teams playing bad. Good teams, mediocre teams, poor teams. The constant is how good YOU are.

    I've mentioned this before, but I was at the Big A in Anaheim when Niekro was ejected. I literally could see the emory board go cartwheeling out of his back pocket from my cheap seats in the upper deck along the 1st base line.

    Per Provus, Colorado has not won a home series this season. Way to bring THAT up, Cory.

    Strength of schedule in baseball is next to meaningless. Strength of your own team is orders of magnitude more important. This Twins team isn't making the postseason.
