  1. Plouffe bunting? Are going to the a 'hidden ball trick' next?
  2. and a Ricky Nolasco bobblehead doll night
  3. yup. can't hurt. Nunez looked pretty awful at 2nd in just a couple attempts.
  4. Didn't listen to the pre-game. what's the bullpen availability look like?
  5. Escobar came up limping. Paging Polanco..... Jorge Polanco....
  6. oh, isn't this sweet. Zuk get's a hit and White Sox have to send their inhouse shrink to the mound
  7. Suziki man's up and cranks one. Book it! huh?
  8. Should have invited Dan Gladden to camp
  9. It's an all inclusive list. OH GOD, WOODY HARRELSON!!
  10. Harrelson is on my list of the worst MLB commentators. Actually he's the only one on the list....
  11. Yup http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/team/depth_chart/?c_id=min
  12. One thing I've been noticing about Arcia: and maybe it's just me. After Arcia makes contact, he stands in the batters box and watches it. A couple games ago, it was a ball in play. A single. I like the way he dedicated himself in the off-season and got into shape. His AB's have been better. Now he needs to work on the little things. Like running his butt of when he makes contact!
  13. Same here. We've seen this before and I don't want to see the same MLB results again. Walks are the only thing I'm really watching. So far, 4 in 10 games. OBP and OPS are above average. Call me greedy, I still need to see more.
  14. The die is cast, the ship has sailed, etc, etc..... May is not a starter. He's no a permanent fixture in the bullpen, hopefully as the closer. Soon. I'd like to see more of the Tonkin from earlier this year. The one that exploded off the mound, not the one that kinda saunters of the mound like a whipped puppy. Abad has been successful, but with the slop he throws, I think more than a little bit of luck is at play. I like O'Rourke far better for the future and Pressly over Jepsen any day of the week.
  15. I can't wait to see Meyer. He looked like crap in spring training, but turned it around in AAA. Here's hoping tonight's catcher doesn't leave him hanging like they did with Berrios. When a rookie pitcher runs into trouble, the catcher is the one that should calm him down.
  16. I'll say this: the poor kid was over-hyped. Buxton has had some pretty messed up mechanics and being physically gifted, he can put up stats like his 2013 season. But that was A - Ball. His mechanics are much better, but the pattern hasn't change: Strike 1, strike 2 and everything else is down and way until you get Buxton to bite.
  17. What's next for Buxton? He needs developmental reps. If it's anything less than finishing out the season in Rochester, I don't know if there actually is a plan.
  18. Umm, yeah. That had nothing to do with it.
  19. a white-knuckle finish with a 4 run lead. ah, such are our hometown boys....
  20. any chance we can bring Pressly back in?
