  1. Annnnnnd, not so fortunate. Again, Pressly giveth and he taketh away. Well done.
  2. Why would you pitch to Abreu here? Set up the DP!!
  3. Sooooooo...nobody down in Rochester that's better than Santana?
  4. Why the hell was Belisle allowed to continue to pitch after the single to the wall? Can Kintzler not get 5 outs? He had Abreu 0-2 and messed around with him and he's caused this. And Hicks 2.0 is starting to get on my last nerve with a garbage throw like that. At least he's decent running down balls but after that throw, tough to really say what he's bringing to this team at the moment.
  5. Is that 'player' or 'playa'? And I'm still looking for it to jumpstart my career.
  6. I'd stop watching the Twins. They'll only accelerate your decline! =)
  7. Ahhhhhh, that's why I didn't remember Pressly being so effective.
  8. I don't remember Pressly being this effective!! And a real sweet play by Dozier.
  9. Could finally tune over from hockey to catch the second half of this one. While we're in an inning break, here's a question for ya out there....answer a bit later. How is it possible (and it is) to have 4 outs in an inning? Stay tuned...
  10. What's even worse is that on the pitch before the slam, he busted Romine in on the hands with a 93mph fastball that had no chance of being hit. Why not go back to that? Was that Castro who made that call? Neil Allen? Gibson shake to the breaking ball? I'd have gone right back to that fastball on the hands and see what he could do with that one. If you can't trust your fastball, you might as well pack your bags for the Frontier League.
  11. Annnnnnnd, that's the Gibson we all know and love. No better time for me to exit stage right and call balls and strikes. I'll hope for better news crossing on my phone when the game is over.
  12. Which year are we talking about? I seem to recall the last several years being afflicted with this disease.
  13. If that's a used challenge, that's a pathetic use of one.
  14. Why are we reviewing this call? Wasn't even close! That said, poor taste to play J Geils Band in the stadium the day after his death? Too soon?
  15. Hopefully Blue is consistent with his zone and Gibson gets those same pitches. That said, Castro as a catcher is walking a very fine line with questioning the strike zone.
  16. Happiness is getting a day game on my big screen instead of my computer screen...and Dozier leading off with a dinger!
  17. 2 more runs in 65 less innings than last year? What a difference a year makes.
  18. An Esco-bomb!! I like this Strahm guy. Can he pitch every night against us?
  19. I again ask the question as to why a pitcher would ever throw Sano something other than off-speed stuff. Yesterday, it was a fastball he launched into the seats. Same thing today with the triple. Their mistakes equal our smiles.
  20. Target CENTER?? Are they playing a baseball game in the arena today, Todd?
  21. Watching these last 2 Buxton ABs (both Ks) and it looks like he hasn't changed at all from last year -- still swinging at bad balls and incredibly easy to get on off-speed stuff. I wouldn't throw him or Sano a fastball ever.
  22. All that money spent paying off! Park parks it!!
