  1. Murphy's Law there. I don't even see that in the high school games I do. SMH
  2. The Brewers have confused me in these first 2 innings... --The baserunning by Walsh on the double off the wall in right was terrible. He should be halfway and then easily scored when the 2nd baseman goes out to field the carom. --How the baserunner from 3rd doesn't score on a routine double play ball is very odd. Luckily for them, they got both of those guys in. --And then like you say with the shift, they let the Park ball get through and then give the Twins a run and should have given them a 2nd run because they sacrifice a DP situation. I mean, is the kid from "Little Big League" managing today?
  3. What is it with this franchise and not being able to do anything with the bases loaded?
  4. The strikezoid is back for a 2nd engagement in this series.
  5. Too late to grow your hair back for this outing, Ervin.
  6. Not too often when I get to see these guys on my big screen at home. Just means y'all will have to put up with more of me.
  7. Well done everyone. Let's do it again in 13 hours.
  8. Hopefully he can get another hit to try to break that timing mark.
  9. Are we gonna play again tonite?
  10. If you can get to Vegas quickly, I'll take a Bananas Foster (scroll to bottom of menu) http://www.holsteinsburgers.com/menus/las-vegas/
  11. They were showing shots of people just sitting in the stands in the rain. What possesses someone to just sit there in the rain when there's nothing going happening on the field (different from football) and there's plenty of protection (and beer still!!) in the concourses??
  12. Yep, that's the Blaine Boyer I remember...
  13. Ha, I'm slightly taller than Eddie...I was talking about my strike zone as an umpire.
  14. Blue has a bit of a low strike zone. My kind of umpire. Reminds me of a heckle I got because I have a low strike zone.
  15. As soon as I saw this cross the interwebs, I had to throw the Jiffy Pop in the microwave and mosey on over here to gauge the entertainment value. It hasn't been disappointing.
  16. Huston Street balked at least once during that Escobar at-bat.
  17. Pitching has done their job all freakin year so far, can anyone carrying a big wooden stick do SOMETHING please??
  18. C'mon Murph, pretend that's Perkins on the mound...
  19. When Plouffe got the walk, I immediately thought of a pinch runner and figured Escobar was the last one eligible on the bench. Might as well put him in to run and then he can play 3rd or short in the 11th if it gets there and Nunez can move over or stay put. Figured our best chance would be to get Esco to steal 2nd and take our chances from there. And now we come back from commercial and Plouffe is hurt and Esco is in the game anyway. Soooooo, does anyone on that bench know how to handle a late-inning strategy situation?
  20. Not sure which is more surprising -- that they left the bases loaded or that they were able to get enough runners on to even load the bases. These. Guys. Suck.
  21. Rosario is leading the league in bad routes taken to balls hit down the left field line (Frazier's double today and the Hosmer triple on Sunday). Can anyone get him a Google Maps app? Is Lew Ford available?
  22. The throw back to Escobar for the tag beat Dozier by a step but if he could have run full-bore into Escobar before the throw got there, yeah, he definitely could have gotten an obstruction call. Whether or not the umpires would have seen it that way is a different story, though.
