    I hope you are not referring to Kreidler as young and you meant Keaschall. Kreidler is not young any more. This is the type of play that happens when you don't have a set lineup. They need to stop playing musical chairs and go with an infield configuration for the rest of the year and see how it plays out.

    So we are going with a 6 man bullpen the rest of the weekend. Morris won't be available before Sunday and if Paredes pitches 3 to 4 innings he will be out until Monday. So who is the next 30 something they will pick up.

    We don't know where Lewis will end up, 1B or 2B, or who knows they make him into a super utility guy. They have Culpepper at 3B tonight, he is not playing there if he comes up. That decision was made when Lee was moved over there. Lewis at 2B last night and 1B. Pick a path and let him get comfortable. You don't need a roster of utility players. They become jack of all trades and master of none. Having one or two guys that can move is fine, but they should be your bench players to give you flexibility to make moves during the game.

    Maybe they could get cash considerations for him from someone desperate to claim him.

    This is my frustration, we have options to take over for any of these four players, that are offering minimal or no contributions. Will a Fedko, Ross or even Gonzalez or Mendez give less production, I don't think it's even possible. You say we are playing with a 12 1/2 man roster, I say it is more like 11, Arcia and Kreidler are barely even seen. Which again if you don't trust them to play, why are they on the roster.

    Paredes is not up here to fill Ober's spot. They are going with 4 starters and winging it when the fifth spot comes up. Paredes is on an every fourth day schedule being a bulk guy, He is not a starter, they have one starter in St. Paul in Gallagher and he only went 5 innings yesterday.

    They played Clemens in CF and had Bell at 1B with Kreidler sitting on the bench. I think that says everything you need to know about where Kreidler sits on the pecking order in CF. Fedko could easily replace him.

    It is time to get Culpepper up here, Gray is not a major league shortstop, stop pretending he is. Call up Lewis and put him at one position. Decide the position and quit moving him around. Give Lewis a couple of months, if he stinks it up, then move on, but nothing is being accomplished leaving him in AAA.

    Neither one of them should be on the roster, it's picking between two bad options.

    It's a platoon at SS between him and Gray because we have no other shortstops in the organization. And obviously he can't play any other position.

    1st base then, find a utility guy to back up the infield spots

    If you call up Gonzalez, you don't need to move Keaschall. No AAAA or aging vet i.e. Arcia should be getting regular AB's. They can be in a bench role if needed. DFA Bell if you can't trade him because I think he is untradeable. Otherwise I agree with the list.
