    Who cares if he goes 0-3. Astros have pop and as we saw last inning the OF defense is very important. The step down from Byron to either Grossman or Ehire is huge!! And the difference from Ehire and Byron's bat is not very different at all. Stupid move, unless it was done medically.

    Flip Castro and Vargas. Flip Esco and Hector. Also, Joe Mauer should be in the top ten, IMO. When I think of power rankings, I don't necessarily think of rankings teams, or players in this case, from best to worst, but who has been hot. Mauer has had an excellent month and that warrants a spot in the top 10.

    I'm reserving it until they get through the halfway point of June. If they continue to play the way they have there is no reason to think it isn't possible this team makes the playoffs.

    Haley has been used in mop up, that is it. I don't really see the need to get rid of him at this point. The FO thinks he could be something, which is why they took him. Unless we are going to replace him with a better reliever, I wouldn't get rid of him. I'd get rid of Wilk/Besilie/Breslow before Haley.
