This season has gotten really, really pathetic. The team sucks, the manager sucks, leading to a nearly unwatchable product. Literally the only reason I am watching this team anymore is because of Byron Buxton. He's been doing things on a nightly basis that very few players in the game are capable of. I mentioned it in the game thread tonight but I honestly can't remember a more entertaining Twins player in my (somewhat short) lifetime. On top of this, he always hustles and just seems like a genuinely nice, likable kid. I'm incredibly happy to see him turning things around. Here are some recent highlights that can function as eye bleach after watching that Grossman double error. For those who somehow had something better to do on a Friday night, this is all you missed. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/51231442/v1183651283/seamin-buxton-makes-an-amazing-grab-to-rob-a-homer/?game_pk=449167

Cano has two hits because of our poor corner outfielders.

Regardless of the results, Buxton has to be the most entertaining player we've had since.........????

That was cool.

Boy, if I cared I sure would be upset about Kurt Suzuki hitting three spots ahead of the guy with the 1.041 OPS this month. But.....as it stands now, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They heard Kurt Suzuki was DHing and came runnin'!

Pressly Rogers Chargois Hildenberger Baxendale Duffey Melotakis

I'd have: 1A. Trout 1B. Betts 3. Altuve 4. Donaldson 5. Machado With Dozier somewhere in the next 5.

Why has Buxton just stopped attempting to steal?

What do you see Jorge Polanco becoming? Just out of curiosty.

How was Buxton's triple? No video of it on MLB gameday unfortunately.

Blankenhorn isn't a 3B anymore.

Expect Suzuki to go 4-4 tonight now.

A Kurt Suzuki DH party sounds like a terrible excuse for a party.

Came in to see if anyone had commented on the DH tonight yet, good work gang. http://i.imgur.com/vkMfQug.gif

I don't want to jinx it, but whoa. Buxton has absolutely wowed me since his call-up. It's crazy how many ways he can impact a game when he's on. Also, he has the fourth highest (B-Ref) WAR on the team, trailing only Dozier, Kepler, and Mauer.

Slumps happen, I'm not worried about Kepler.

Wimmers looks alright, decent stuff and he keeps the ball down.

Albers is throwing BP right now, heck of a catch by Schafer though.

It's the Vikings easily, they at least have a competent front office/coach right now though.

Relax everyone, Logan Schafer is on the way.

Well, Buxton just hit another homer.

There's your first mistake.

ANDREW ALBERS is going to be starting games over Jose Berrios in a totally lost season?!?!?! http://awesomegifs.com/wp-content/uploads/i-feel-like-im-taking-crazy-pills.gif
