    Here on if i must use an s (and for some reason, it is hard not to) i shall also use an apostrophe to distinguish possession from plural. The Met's.

    Old style things to think about. 1. What is Met short for? Presuming of course Mets is the plural of Met. 2. Cellars and buyers. Discuss. 3. Folk talk about good pitching and good hitting, but rarely about evil pitching or hitting? Where are the Ty Cobbs of this era? 4. Woods Richardson. Pitching pipeline or cunning Berrios trading acquisition. PS heir apparent to as many letters as possible on one's jersey. Pushing boundaries is important. 5. Parity or parody.     Correa got in one game in against The Giants before the break. I don't suppose he might be back for a game against the other cautious suitor? (Of course i prefer him back solidly on both feet, full steam ahead over just bein' back for the sake of not letting the team down... It goes without saying.     Thanks! I try... at least i try to try, if i'm not too lazy. Although as to the original question, we still won despite (allegedly) not playing our best players. Some people might attribute less than considerate motives to that sort behavior... "rubbing it in" is a phrase that comes to mind. Not quite sure why? Ah well. Is Thielbar finally finding his Mojo again?
