    Um, 162 innings doesn't account for the times one less inning from the starter turns out to mean trailing in the 9th on the road instead of being tied or ahead. In those cases it doesn't tax the bullpen at all. (i'll leave the change in extra inning games as an exercise to the reader, but only because i'm lazy)

    In the home of 3m? Scotch tape, please! And i think, to be frank, it would be an unsatisfactory replacement for bug juice (what i grew up calling cool aid... blame summer camp) as the sticky residue is part of the appeal.. I guess in tandem? No, i think not...

    I take it as perhaps the best sign available? With flexibility to fit multiple places? And sufficiently mature he'll be competitive off the bench? And if they 60manned both the players we speculate they would, we got one place to make waiver claims. Anyway, we'll see how it plays out soon enough.

    Realistic expectations? Twins will find a place for him to work through things, either towards his old stuff, or reinventing a repoitoir if he can't do quite what he wa doing. Given that, he won't be added back to the 40 until they are ready to use him, and pretty sure he can have success. Personally, i think he'll be worth having by the end of the summer, even if he is still not 40 manned, but getting to be an elder statesman in the minors, much like Albers. And yeah, i wouldn't count him out. He still has unfinished business against the Yankees in the playoffs...

    And one aspect this article doesn't address... What does a sluggish reporter mean to the upcoming season? I am positing his breaking news rate will actually increase by 2,5 stories anove replacement, as he gets himself into awkward situations, and Minnesota Nice will come into play amongst team and management alike...

    A vastly under rated word! I approve. And for whatever reason, i here the word in the voice of Heckle and/or Jeckle, so i can assume the approve too. Not that anyone approves of Heckle and Jeckle... Yes, quite.
