    He strikes out too much yet. I believe the Twins should have never have called up Buxton...I also think it is too early for Sano.

    I am one of the few, that was not happy with him being called up..... I am not 100% sure the kid is ready yet.. I do not want us to affect the kid's confidence..

    A catcher like Suzuki would be good for good lineup where he could hit 8th and/or 9th. This lineup is too dependent on Suzuki, which is not fair to Suzuki, or quite frankly, us fans. So finding a better catcher is a way to improve our offense.

    I really do not want to see Buxton or Sano up this year. I really want to see them in Target Field, but I think a whole year in the Minors would do them the best. I say bring them up in September, which does not affect their contract length, but otherwise, wait until next year.

    I do not get Ryan's hurry to give Hughes an extension after one good season. We have a lot of money tied up on average pitchers.

    Santana is a major liability on defense and is does not bring enough with his bat right now either.

    I wonder if a player like Stauffer goes on the DL it saves the Twins money? Does insurance than pay their salary? However, if they released him they would still have to pay him...Maybe that is why they put unproductive players on the DL. Didn't they do that with Bartlett last year?

    I just think he has nothing to prove in the minors and he is a step up from both Robinson and Schafer. I really think it is time to get rid of those two and Nunez and call up Hicks, Rosario, and Pinto.

    I know it is early.. But we had 4 players in our lineup that are batting less than .200.

    Great write-up. Always appreciate this, especially with the state of the Twins right now. I just think Pinto has nothing left to prove in the Minors anymore. He needs to be in the Majors. If they want to keep Hermann. That is fine. He would be a much better option than Nunez.

    We cannot pitch, hit, or play defense. Just so F-ing pathetic. If we are going to suck I want us to suck with good young players. Not with mediocre veterans like Stauffer, Schafer, Robinson, Hermann, Nunez, Boyer, Milone, and Duensing. What sad is a small market team has so much money invested in a horrible pitcher like Nolasco, a has been like Mauer, and a moronic PED user like Santana.

    I know it is not the most exciting roster.. However, I think by June the roster could look different. Hopefully by then guts like Rosario, Pinto, May, Meyer, and possible Burdi could be up.... Maybe Hicks will have turned it around. Hopefully by then possibly Buxton and Sano have stayed healthy and progressed enough that they are really close to call ups.

    This is what MLB had ranked as our top 10 in 2001. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/prospects/watch/y2011/ Hicks is still a major question mark. Gibson is reaching his potential. Arcia has shown promise. Sano is still a big prospect. I do not remember number 8 at all.

    This is just my opinion. OF-Buxton: 25%.. I just think he may need another year. I would LOVE him starting at CF, but he is a BIG part of the future. 3B-Sano: 50%.. He is definitely more ready than Buxton. Like Buxton, there is no need to hurry him. I think we will see him eventually this year but it all depends on him staying healthy. P-Meyer: 100%.. The kid is 25. It is time to see if what he has to offer. He will eventually be playing in Target. P-Berrios: 25%.. I think he could benefit from one more year in Minors, but he may be too good to keep down. SS-Gordon: 0% P-Stewart: 0% IF-Polanco: 50%..Made his debut last year. He also is young and could benefit from one more year in Minors. But, is it possible he pushes his way in? Maybe move Santana back to CF? P-Burdi: 90%.. The bullpen is a major concern. He should be up this year to help us. He is old enough. OF-Rosario: 100%..Has a chance to make the team right away. More likely, he will be the first position player to be called up. P-Thorpe: 0%.. P-May: 100%... P-Reed: 50%..Can he help the bullpen? OF-Walker: 0% C-Turner: 10%.... OF-Kepler: 0% P-Graham: 95% P-T. Rogers: 30%.. A lot of intriguing young bullpen candidates and this southpaw is one. He could eventually be Duensing's eventually replacement. P-T. Duffey: 50%.. These are just my thoughts.. Just wondering what yours are. I know I am a nerd.. But just like talking about this. I love some of our young arms that can help our bullpen eventually (Burdi, Reed, Graham, Rogers)..
