    This game is proof why we could not afford to lose Santana without a huge return. Gibson, Santiago, and Duffey are mediocre at best. Berrios has huge potential, but right now is struggling and lacks confidence.

    Man, I am so sick of our mediocre pitching night after night with the exception of Santana.

    I believe Polanco has earned his chance to stay in the big leagues. He no longer needs to get sent down. I think Sano would benefit from being sent down possibly, but I think it might mess with his confidence. I think they need to keep him up here and let the new management next year deal with him. I think it is time for Buxton to go to AAA for the rest of the season. He is not a major league player RIGHT NOW.. I still think he will be, but man I hope the Twins did not screw him up by rushing him too fast a year ago.

    I am happy to get Nolasco out of here. Now if Nolasco becomes a better than average starter and Meyer reaches his potential, then we know there is something really wrong with the Twins organizations and how they develop pitching and coach pitching.

    We get a decent MLB starter for Nolasco and a former pitching prospect who needs a change of scenery. I am starting to Antony deserves a chance to stay.

    Twins also get P-Alan Businetz. Not much of a prospect, but he does add depth in the Minors.

    I have said this before, if we do not get get a lot for Santana, it makes zero since to trade him. He is our only MLB pitcher right now.

    There are rumors that SF is also interested in Santana. I think Bickford is not a possible get. However, a package of P-Tyler Beede and C-Aramis Garcia would be nice gets too.

    I would be ok with Hutchinson if we get Reid-Foley too. Reid-Foley is a couple years away yet and Hutchison is a guy who can help now.

    Terry Ryan has been a great Minnesota Twins representative. But TR is past his prime, the game has past him. I cannot think of any good trades the Twins have made since Smith and Ryan's return. TR and the Twins constantly seem to be in love with AAAA players. I am a die-hard Twins fan, but it is hard to follow them this year. I love Plouffe, but it is time to trade him, put Sano to third. It is also time to trade Dozier and start Polanco. I would start Kepler in RF then for Sano. The Twins are not going to get crap for Hughes or Nolasco. However, they could get something nice for Santana.

    Dick Bremer just jinxed the twins. Talking about JO getting his first career win and snapping Dallas K's 17-0 winning streak at home. A lot can happen. Our bullpen sucks.

    Currently he has 11 strike outs in 32 at bats. I said it then and said it now, the Twins really rushed him way to quick.
