    Hopefully the Twins coaches have given him some clear things to focus on while in the minors. I'd like to see him focus on pitch recognition. Two potential goals to help him do this are: get down a bunt in every gametry to go an entire game without striking out, then see how many games in a row he can go without a strikeout

    I just watched the Mauer baserunning screw-up through at-bat. He should be benched after that. I'd like to see him benched for the rest of the season & only used off the bench so that the youngsters can play.

    If Polanco's arm isn't good enough to play SS, how on earth could he play 3B? Doesn't a 3B need an even better arm than SS since their distance is so far across the diamond?

    Lol the Red Sox' Spanish announcer just said it's "absurd" that the umpires are allowing them to play in this wind.

    Is it supposed to rain in Boston? That wind looks intense. I'm watching on FSN on mute & listening to the Red Sox Spanish broadcast & their announcers are calling for the umpires to delay the game because of the wind.

    Thank goodness it wasn't Grossman in LF today or the Tigers would be leading now by the sound of things! I'm looking forward to seeing the replay once it shows up in the At-Bat app.

    Except don't the Twins supposedly have a good scouting department? If that department is already excellent then you could afford to go with a GM that is good in other areas where the Twins may have some weakness, such as analytics, FA contracts, etc.
